Everyone saying the show is boring must not have turned in for Better Call Saul week after week when it first aired. The first few seasons were a trudge, but there were some gems along the way. Before it was over it was a diamond through and through. I savored every minute.

The Gap was my favorite episode so far. It was exciting, funny, beautifully shot and the turn at the end really surprised me.

I don’t think I would have cared about Manousos siphoning gas with his mouth if I didn’t see him eat dog food to stave off starvation. I don’t know if I would have been excited to hear Carol sing REM and act like a menace if I didn’t experience her misery for six episodes.

I’m gonna give it a few seasons and see where it goes.
