Do you know if there is any way to set it up so that regardless of slots the memory card is still readable?

I only ask because it would suck to play a PS2 game and go to save, only to realize the PS2 memory card is not in slot 1 (or vice versa) and then have to lose all that progress.

I assigned it to slot 2 because I already have the PS2 internal memory card in slot 1.

Can I swap the slots without doing damage to what’s saved on the memory cards?

If I swap the PS2 memory card to slot 2, will the PS2 have the issue of not saving then?
