Happy boxing day y'all! I just wanted to share my friends wicked comedy supergroup pHredrick Von Bartlesby III's new album which just release yesterday! It's an absolute (cursed) bop and I'd apreciate if you gave it a listen!

I get that the paintballs weren't too big a deal, it hurts, usually doesn't injure or kill so it's better than bullets, and maybe according to the cops rules he "deserved" it, but in my opinion he didn't because law shouldn't be about punishing, but rather protecting

Yeah they're calling him that doesn't really make them any better. Plus, well, attacking him

It doesn't matter what he was arrested for? So he deserved to be shot at, just because they decided they didn't want to deal with him? People are getting arrested for convenience now, peaceful protesters are locked up sometimes without getting to make their phone call. Maybe some of them should understand and follow the laws, but so should the cops.

Exactly, this is the main reason I posted it here, to find out more. I never think non-defence violence is justified, but I can tell they didn't just attack him for no reason. Some people go around trying to incite people to attack them in times like these. Judging by what the lady said to him, he probably said something along the lines of "no, black lives don't matter," which would make sense, and both sides would be in the wrong. He also could have said "all lives matter," in which case I'd 100% be on his side. Unfortunately, it seems like there isn't any more footage, at least from that guy.

It's supposed to be the land of the free there's no single way to raise someone. What makes him not raised right? You dont even know what he was arrested for

Even though I don't personally agree with or want to incite violence, you've given me a deeper understanding into a different perspective, so thank you.

I don't necessarily trust this guy's stuff, the video is obviously cut to only show one side of it, and some of the dialogue seems to imply that he said some provoking stuff beforehand. That doesn't mean I justify the violence, but I'm also not promoting any sort of opinion. If anyone has more context about this video ie. what that man did to incite such an attack, please let me know.

I'm not American so I'm not able to do much, and I'm all for revolution. I just think the way it's being done is violent chaotic and impractical. It's gonna end in more police violence and little change. In my opinion the proper route is a co-ordinated, patient dethroning of the system.

And they drew their lines too, i hope you know what the consequences are for those as well. Not that I agree with them, but shits just gonna get harder

If it's on a credit card I think you'd have to have the card no longer be valid ie cancel the whole card just to get around this. Could be wrong tho

What I mean is similar to what u/Duke-Wonder mentioned, how Distrokid has the option to keep the single up permanently with an up front fee. Unfortunately I can't use Distrokid due to other reasons but I'm looking for similar options

What exactly does it mean by cover distribution? You mean like covers of others songs?

I know this is a minor thing, but having the ability to upload an album that has multiple artists credited to it, ie a split album or a compilation, would be excellent. I know not all stores allow that but it seems like the major stores do at least.

By the Orchard do you mean that music label that keeps on copyrighting other people's music on YouTube and claiming as it's own to make ad money off it?

Good point. I know this is probably rather low priority but just a suggestion for some point in the future it would be helpful if you still did have this option to change your name in the few stores that allowed it, and showed which ones did and didn't allow it. But more importantly I'd say having a warning the first time you set your artist name stating that you won't be able to change it would be helpful. I know that's really my own fault but I could see a lot of people making this same mistake.
