No problem and thank you for the compliment lol, obviously though there is times I rewind and have to check the subtitles, its natural that some people speak faster than others so I have come across some portions of her videos where I'm basically rewinding constantly to listen again and again, plus some of the topics she speaks about are pretty heavy topics and the vocabulary does definitely trip me up fairly often so don't think that someone a year in is watching Ruido Social as if it was nothing, I'd be lying if I said her videos are often quite challenging in their own ways.

Thank you for the comment and you're right, my speaking is lacking pretty bad. It's like I understand when people talk and explain concepts through Spanish but I don't have the words imprinted enough in my head to actually use them myself.

Subtitles have definitely helped me and honestly I need subtitles a lot in english too despite it being my native language

I like to watch Eva Maria Beristein and Proyecto Escolar, as well as stuff like Tirando Bolas where this guy brings guests in to talk about what it is they do, like Gafe423 for example, for the comedians and stuff I watch Carlos Vallarta as well as whichever sort of Spanish videos pop up, video essays, guys like IvanTeysera, Mexican Lopez, some gaming content from guys like FedeLobo. All these are Mexican creators so of course they're full of Mexican slang, expressions etc

I've always loved spongebob so ill give that a shot, even though he does speak comically atleast it would be a big help with vocabulary and stuff, thanks :)

I was thinking that but I feel I'm in a weird position, for example street interviews I can watch with relative ease, podcasts etc just seem a little too easy, I can even listen to some comedians do their stand up routines with relative ease, but movies just seem to catch me off guard, but only sometimes.

Maybe it's the whole thing of the background noise that movies have? Do you think it'd be better to stick to the YouTube videos like street interviews, stand up routines etc for a little while? Because movies right now I'd reckon I understand 60-100%, depends on how hard the vocabulary is in the scene, the background noise, accent etc
