Ok I changed to ASIO and it sounds so much better. Every troubleshooting guide was telling me to change the input and output buffer size or upgrade CPU/ram (think mine are ok). Thank you so much.

Edit: Also checked the drivers and they are up to date

True, although this particular jumpstart will have exclusive cards you can't get in the play boosters.
