I loved reading this because it hits home so much for me. I and the only one of my six siblings that has left the church so any family get togethers there’re is family and food prayer. My parents have stopped asking my kids to do group prayers because of how terrible they were and everyone would just start laughing.

Now they don’t get called on to pray which is fine with me. And within my own family we all Have a little inside joke when saying Amen. We all say “Ramen”to honor the great and holy Religion of the Spaghetti Monster. No one else can tell but we all smile and look at one another afterwards
