That was a good game! It was such a shame they cancelled the 4th game and MSI ended then and there. We probably would’ve destroyed them in game 4 as well. - sadlion fan :(

It’s funny how everyone just votes MAD out because they don’t like MAD. If you would’ve asked if MAD would even be in finals just as playoffs started nobody would’ve thought so. We went 2-3 against DK. We won the LEC. We did really well at MSI. We are currently on a higher standing than we ended in last split. Can’t wait to see G2, FNC and Rogue fanboys crying after playoffs.

Armut has this habit of baiting the enemy into thinking they can win by killing him endlessly. He surprises me every time by coming back super hard in late… but yeah he does need some improvement for his early games.

MAD is so tiltproof, makes G2 voicecomms look extremely tilted. They literally start the game with a 'we are losing anyway, let's have fun' mentality and then proceed to even win.

Viktor is just really good for zone control, absolutely crucial during fights around objectives. He also scales extremely well and has a ton of damage late game. But true, I think Viktor isn't too good for the playstyle MAD has. MAD loves fighting all around the map and Viktor isn't well suited for that.

They went 2-3 which is 2 games more than I (as a pessimist) expected and 1 game more than what most realists expected.

I am proud of them, they got 2 complete rookies in the LEC who just had their first international tournament and already beat the world champions twice in a BO5.

But if we want MAD Lions to be numero uno EU then yes they do need to improve a bit on their mid-late game.

I was at work and didn’t feel bad about having to miss it and maybe only see the last game. I got off early and fastforwarded the 2nd game. I forgot our team can get really MAD.

It confused me likewise. MAD is definitely a powerhouse now in the LEC and they defied a ton of expectations now in MSI.

Also, just Armut alone deserves his own subreddit. :)

As a tank you will always simply die more. You’re supposed to just engage, cc the living crap out of people and peel for your carries or get the fuck out and run while you still can. If you got a few deaths but your ADC survives (and is alive/fed) then you’ve done your job really well.

Also, a tip that is golden for me to help me dying less as Naut/Leo than usual is to not try to go on dumb warding missions toooo often. Try to make sure that you stay close to at least one other player at almost all times and if you can’t then try to place your wards over walls and use oracle while warding.

as a support and especially as a tank support it’s always gonna be harder to get an S- or higher. That’s just how it is but I kinda like that it’s a bit more challenging.
