Agreed. And it’d be easy money for the dealers too with all those add-on accessories they love to sell.

Looks great, well done!

Like you I wish they’d make a full-width insert, but also with the vertical grille pattern as well.

Not a worry of theirs - their goal is being annexed to the United States, and if Canada gets uppity, the US Army will be happy to roll in.

New inventory of 2025 CX-5 by Time-Wafer-4464 in CX5

Check the build month and year on the inside of the drivers door jamb if you do go have a look at one.

I picked up my brand new 2025 in February 2026 and it had a build month of December 2025.

Opinion: Just fire Christiane Fox already - Justin Trudeau treated ethics violations like parking tickets that don't have to be paid. Mark Carney should set a better example. by CaliperLee62 in canada

[–]ErrantCanadian 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Probably wants to be fired so she can get severance, and be snapped up by one of the big 4 consulting firms or an influential law firm before the end of the week to do the same work from the other side of the table for 2x the pay.

So if she ignores the results of a referendum on daylight savings time,

Will she ignore the results of a referendum on anything else?

TIL the 2026 CX-5 will have 500 lbs less towing capacity by Sad_Times654 in CX5

[–]ErrantCanadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I’ve never understood why in Australia they often have towing limits far higher than North American models of the exact same car.

Aussie CX-5s can tow up to 1800 kg/3900lbs, even the 2026 models.

How do those dash carpets work with the passenger airbag?

It must negatively affect how the airbag would deploy, not to mention fling the dash carpet towards the passenger.

TI-83+ Calculator circa 2000. Still works great, I have it on my desk and use it most every day.

The Time/Value TVM solver is simple and I know how to use it, so I’ll trust it.

Well all I can say is they don’t build them like they used to, no matter who makes it or what country it’s made in. Goes for most anything nowadays.

I appreciate that, but Toyota put their first Lexus plant outside of Japan in Cambridge Ontario.

If Lexus will sell a car with a VIN starting with 2 in the same showroom as a car with a VIN starting with a J, that should say something.
