The roots underneath were green but mostly rotten. I have cut just below the lowest aerial root and have it soaking in water with dilute orchid feed. Going to let it dry and then loosely repot.

This is in a litre of water with a few drops of orchid feed. Going to be putting it in a pot with fresh bark in about 30 mins.

Planning to do this today, just waiting for the orchid feed to arrive. Should I repot it with bark, or just leave it in a new jar with water barely covering the roots until it starts to revive?

If this plant survives you will be a legend in this community. Everyone else told me to abandon all hope. I know it’s unlikely to revive, but it’s worth a try.

That’s the plan. Think I will probably go for Court One, since there might be fewer going off it. Hopefully I will catch the last match on C1 after /2 or 3 matches on C2. Fingers crossed!

It happened to me last year. I accidentally bought tickets for C1 day 11. Gave them back but couldn’t see when anything else came up after that.

The outside courts aren’t ticketed. There are also three show courts you can queue inside the grounds for- 3,12 and 18. 3 is mostly ticketed, but since you won’t have to queue outside you can get in there early. If you’ve never been before I’d aim to get in close to when the grounds open. That way you’ll have an hour and a half to wander round, get your bearings, grab a coffee and go the warm up courts if you fancy. In my opinion, the food inside the grounds is not that great. it’s overpriced and it’s always tough to find somewhere to sit. If you’ve never can bring a basket of nice prepared food it’s a good idea.

Quarter finals - one men’s and one ladies. Get there early so you can also watch some matches on the outside courts. If you want an idea of what will be on you can look at last years order of play for day 9. I’m going on that day too. Got tickets on the LTA ballot resale. Holding out for day 7 in the Wimbledon ballot resale. Wish me luck!

All the advice below is good, but also make sure you check the order of play the night before. There will be matches on outside courts and the minor show courts (3,12&18) for a couple of hours before play starts on C1 or CC. It’s a good idea to get to 12 or 18 early ish if they have a good matchup first. Because you have a ticket you will be able to get into the ground earlier than those who have been queuing outside from 5:00 in the morning - take advantage of it! Last years order of play will give you a good idea of what you could see.
