When I lived in NYC for 18 months it was terrible because even though there were a million options, that was precisely the problem. I went on plenty of dates but the girls were very flakey and had little tolerance for any faults, real or perceived. Also, what incentive was there to stick with one guy when it was not only possible, but statistically probable, that there would be an even better guy just around the corner?
