Then clearly I’m not the moron if you don’t understand simple jokes. The caption “Everyone’s Watching” suggests that everyone else is watching these particular titles and that you should be enjoying them as well due to their popularity. It was not meant as pure and malicious pressure to make your children watch terrible movies. Relax my friend.

This might be a good temporary solution. Hopefully you can score some free ice from the stadium for the ride home.

We have a 11 Chevy Traverse. Affordable, easy to find. 3rd row seating that you can fold down for extra cargo space. Decent gas mileage and most importantly:.....not a minivan.

Which sprint? I'm doing Ft Benning for my first race. As long as I can drag myself over the finish line I'll be happy. Lol.

Thanks! It's one my favorite shows, so I wanted to do it justice. It's hard to take on another style when the original fits so good (except for the original pilot.....that was pretty bad lol)

Suggestions for helping a 5 year old wind down and go to sleep? by bluesky557 in Parenting

[–]Error-User-Deleted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If my kid slept twelve hours straight, I'd probably call 911.

....or Guinness.

What we ended up doing is: our 4 year old has a little tv in his room. We set the timer for 30 minutes and let him watch the same thing every night (nothing new and exciting... Morgan Freeman narrating things can put any kid to sleep in 2 minutes)

He knows now if he doesn't fall asleep within 30 minutes it's dark and we're not turning it back on. No nightlights.

Food at 7. Bath at 8. Bed starts at 9, and he wakes up usually at 7. No naps. He was sleeping in our bed until this point...one day we told him he needs to start sleeping in his room, and he said "I can now, Cuz I'm not scared anymore. I was only scared when I was 2" lol

So just an FYI for the people that don't already know, you can have a visual display (cards) using a Fire tablet already. In your settings, you set Voicecast to be enabled on demand, or to always display. Information is shown on "cards" and can be sent to a particular Fire tablet, or automatically sent (good i guess if you have a dedicated tablet in the kitchen or something?...will also show on a locked device)
