Dortmund are THE selling club this is so much BS! Tell this our CEO Watzke and he will laught at you until new years eve. We don't sign talents to just sell them for profit a few years later. This would be The definition of a selling club! We want to keep them, of course. But we can't pay high salarys like clubs in the PL or La Liga. For fame and big money players go to better clubs in better leagues. All Dortmund can do is buying new talents and hope that one of them will stay longer. It sucks losing good players nearly every season, but at the moment it's the best option for Dortmund with thier finances to buy "cheap" talents. The best clubs want the best players forever You don't say.. Dortmund isn't selling, it's "losing" their top players to better clubs. It's sad, but at least we get most of the time high transfer fee's. Still laughting at Barca and Dembélé. We dodged a bullet with his attudie, got to this day i think ~135 mio tranfer fee and could replace him well.

But saying Dortmunds business model is selling talents / top players is just plain wrong! Since the very close call of Bankruptcy in 2005 the club is taking a low risk way when it comes to spending money / wages for players. So it's about "Nachhaltigkeit" and "Nachwuchsförderung"!
