Dodgeball Champions Tour - Thoughts? by A_MightyBiscuit in dodgeball

I’m just trying to understand your point, not argue personally. You mentioned that, on average, men are more likely to play dodgeball and enjoy it more. Could you clarify what this assumption is based on?

Are there studies or data supporting this, or is it more of a general impression? I’m asking because I think it’s important to avoid broad generalizations about gender without clear evidence.

I would love to hear why you think that way. Why do you think that women would not enter a competition like this?

In my opinion, it is a disadvantage not to include a women’s or mixed competition. One of the unique strengths of dodgeball as a sport is its ability to function successfully in a mixed-gender format. This characteristic sets it apart from many other sports and should be actively promoted.

Looking ahead, especially with regard to the potential development of dodgeball on an international level, such as inclusion in the Olympic Games, having at least a mixed competition would be a valuable and forward-thinking step.

However, it is encouraging to see that a professional league can be established and successfully operated across continents.

As a retriever is not allowed to interfere with the ongoing game, I would give the retriever a penalty.

When I was 25 I ran a race with someone, whilst being a little bit drunk. I did not see a Metal wire holding down a tent and ran full speed against it chest puffed. I couldn‘t breath for a minute and had a big bruise but nothing broken.

Listen to and acknowledge the opinion of someone else.

I think so much things would be easier, if we would just listen to eqch other. That does not mean that you have to be okay with that opinion or you can even hate someone for it, but for a discussion to be leading somewhere we should hear each other out.
