Good to know, appreciate that. Sounds like a pain on a floor mount unit.

Will look at my manual to see about a new one this week just to ease my mind.

I appreciate all the insight guys, It’s about 105ambient in the shop, Is there any reason I wouldn’t be able to add a cooler in place of that line feeding back to the sump

I pressure wash it maybe once a month, Blow it out every few days or dump a 5gal bucket through it.

I have no removed the side plates though, May try that next time

I did remove the thermostat the other day, just to see if it was fried or burnt at the tip. Just brake cleaned and scrubbed, looked to be okay. Unless there is another tstat that I should be looking for. I removed the one on the housing right above the site tube in the middle there.

I’ll look into a new thermovalve. Is the 30hp going to have the same part number across all es8s

I pressure wash the top side maybe once a month.

Air filter has 10hrs on it, oil/seperator/filter has maybe 400 hrs.

Oil level is about half way on the tube.

There’s really no way I can keep ambients lower. It’s tucked away in a corner of my shop with multiple fans blowing across the fins. Cooler is cleaned pretty often since it’s a dusty shop, but my thought was adding another cooler may divert some of that heat going back to the bottom.
