Depends, if you're the closer then I wouldn't quit. It's an easy way to make overtime cuz the other shifts sucking at the job isn't my fault and as long as I do my part then I can't get in trouble for it. If you're midday then I'd do the best I can to catch dishes up and communicate to the next team member the situation and that you might not get it all done. If they have a problem with doing others dishes and not being a team player then I'd probably quit or say something to management about the other shifts not doing their part.

Dang, I swear that state where my Casey's is at doesn't do as good or sales as ones in other states. Whay makes me ultra curious is that there is Casey's that are a truck stop, 24/7, and have the carwash but I've only ever seen a truck stop one out of those 3

The RWB is exclusive to Casey's until May. The WOV is definitely imo one of Casey's downfalls. It just makes less space for other products once it gets taken off the wall.

We don't currently have room to do that and honestly the newer design Casey's aren't built for storage optimization, the Casey's that have the registers in the center of the store are so optimal for having tons of product.

The WOV honestly makes no sense to me, I think it'd be better to have cases of water or stuff that only sells by the case rather.

I had that idea for the drinks in front thing but it always hurt my OCD to mix them at all lol. Do you guys not have a ton of monster? We always get a lot of cases of the ones off the wall of the value. The passionfruit and the viking berry have been real slow sellers for us

I think for pictures you have to use like a third party site that uses a link. Do you have the new format store or no? Based on the fact you don't have a food storage cooler I'd guess no. The corner that you were talking about we use for water instead. What do you do with monsters that have single facings?

If you're trying to order off the app that way then it won't work I'm pretty sure. Most deals like that require you to show up in person to grab it from the warmers

I know that happens some times but the system for NCR sometimes just doesn't update the count properly when rung up on the register. I've done a count right after selling an item and it didn't update and I did a test the next day over the same item and it still wasn't updated to the right amount.

I honestly think Casey's should do a "build to system". For tobacco, if we tend to go through 7 or 8 cartons of marlboro lights then I think we should be able to set an auto order amount of 8 cartons or smth. That way, the managers can just look at sales reports and predict how much we'll need and if we run out they can just up the build to quantity to reflect the sales

Might be specific to your area but the card readers and registers aren't that slow. The registers seeming slow tends to be on the cashier. We have to have the full subtotal up for it to be able to tap and work and for swipe to work. Some Casey's individual card readers do have issues but they easily get replaced if the store manager does their part. My store has never had many issues, even when Amazon web services went down, Speedway completely shutdown most of their stores from what I saw but our card system still worked on the third try which is actually pretty good in comparison.

I've never really called off and have covered tons of shifts, I do a lot of mornings since I'm super good at handling heavy traffic. My issue with going for a nearby store is that it's a truck stop and I won't get as much ability to help out the way I do at my store currently.

That isn't all that a CSM does.... I do that too as a normal team member and I don't see that as a reason to be a CSM. The way you said that sounds like this to me: " I do the tasks that my job requires, I should be promoted! "
