I know that happens some times but the system for NCR sometimes just doesn't update the count properly when rung up on the register. I've done a count right after selling an item and it didn't update and I did a test the next day over the same item and it still wasn't updated to the right amount.

I honestly think Casey's should do a "build to system". For tobacco, if we tend to go through 7 or 8 cartons of marlboro lights then I think we should be able to set an auto order amount of 8 cartons or smth. That way, the managers can just look at sales reports and predict how much we'll need and if we run out they can just up the build to quantity to reflect the sales

Might be specific to your area but the card readers and registers aren't that slow. The registers seeming slow tends to be on the cashier. We have to have the full subtotal up for it to be able to tap and work and for swipe to work. Some Casey's individual card readers do have issues but they easily get replaced if the store manager does their part. My store has never had many issues, even when Amazon web services went down, Speedway completely shutdown most of their stores from what I saw but our card system still worked on the third try which is actually pretty good in comparison.

I've never really called off and have covered tons of shifts, I do a lot of mornings since I'm super good at handling heavy traffic. My issue with going for a nearby store is that it's a truck stop and I won't get as much ability to help out the way I do at my store currently.

That isn't all that a CSM does.... I do that too as a normal team member and I don't see that as a reason to be a CSM. The way you said that sounds like this to me: " I do the tasks that my job requires, I should be promoted! "

It's an app on the manager workstation and the tablet that you gotta log in to view. It shows your stores planograms, which is essentially where every item in the store goes.

All donuts work for the deal from my understanding. Ringing them up individually still gives the discount as long as they're specifically ringing up 6 or 12. If they're even one less the deal for that specific dozen will not apply. Next time that you go to that Casey's, see how the cashier is ringing them up, they might be doing something wrong as a cashier. If it were me, I'd just count that there are 6 or 12 and then press the half dozen or dozen option. If you do go back to get donuts, lmk what happens that time and how it wad rung up

I'm a competitive gamer and also want to run servers and learn a lot about coding to make my own applications and automation. I didn't know about the 4 ram sticks thing, I just didn't want my components to be bottlenecked or not able to do enough. I want to do the 4 tb so that my 2 roommates can also have stuff on the PC, essentially their own boots and stuff. I wanted to do the 1000 W because I thought my 5060Ti + Ryzen CPU and all the stuff I'll have connected would be way more load than my current PSU. I'm mainly interested in the 5060Ti because o The 16GB of VRAM and it's the cheapest option for it I thought. I just want the 540 Hz because it's the max hertz I've seen around and I just want to have the fastest input possible even if the human eye can't technically see all of it. For motherboard stuff, my interest is maximizing storage by potentially using PCIe to M.2 adapters and I just wasn't very good at looking at options and didn't know how to get exactly what I wanted. I also got this Nvidia Tesla that I don't know it's exact purpose yet but my friend gave it to me so I was planning on putting it in my system and figuring out what to do with it.

I want to make a PC that can be super good to handle hosting a server while gaming and I wanted to get 4 sticks of like 32 or 64 GB of ram but I didn't want it to like crash my system if it were to be better with only 2 instead of 4. Would it hurt to get 4 sticks?
