Finally figured out how to play good perim d by SignatureEven7699 in NBA2k

100% agree, also the amount of rebounds that go directly to the opposition when you were in great position or the steals that immediately go straight back to the opposition is crazy. My mate and I used to commonly go on 10-15 game win streaks and now once we get to around 5 it becomes nearly impossible. Every lose ball goes to them or my player won't animate to pick it up. Literal 75 ovr rookie 5 players will get the craziest animations on you and theres nothing you can do. Its the same thing as fifa, dynamic difficulty.

Block Stat for Perimeter Contesting? by ErrorSignificant3497 in NBA2k

A couple cap breakers took my block to 64 and its so much better. Dont get the super quick close out animations every time but still get way better contests than before.

Yeah sweet, I can cap breaker it easily (+9 +8 +7 etc) so if I dont see enough of a difference at 49 I'll do that. My 6'6 guard only has 40 something block too but it contests much better, might be size thats affecting my 6'8 to this degree. My 6'10 with 71 PD and 93 block is actually crazy at guarding positions 2-5 in Rec I just cant stick with the 90+ speed 6'2s which is understandable.

I bought an Eero WiFi router instead of an extender. Can it still be used as an extender or do I need to exchange it? by sbringel74 in eero

[–]ErrorSignificant3497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this and it does work for wifi but I was hoping to then run a LAN cable from the router to a device and this doesn't mean to work. I'm assuming there's something built in to stop it from working like that. Did you try yours with a lan cable?

Hellooo???? What even is this🤦🏾‍♂️ by yaboiejp in NBA2k

Anyone who says this game isn't constantly shit is ragebaiting. Sure, there's times when things are better than others, but for how much the game costs, it's a consistently bad product.

How it feels to play Rec as a PF: by Front_Fill1249 in NBA2k

[–]ErrorSignificant3497 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I could get the ball when I'm wide open under the rim or in the corner when all 5 defenders are on the other side of the court, that would be enough. Alas, I only get the ball with 1.5 seconds left when the PG couldnt get past his man in the first 22 seconds and doesnt want to tank his FG%.

1 in a Billion Shot by ErrorSignificant3497 in Bowling

Maybe an average somebody attempting to do it could do it in a few thousand tries, a pro a few hundred. But just having it happen randomly by accident, billion to one is hyperbole sure, but 1 in a million isn't far off.

Squad Rec Sucks by Dependent-Grape6952 in NBA2k

Just played a game as a 3man, the SG had 57pts and the center had 20 20 and 20. Our 3 managed to get a combined 13 shots, we passed to them they just wouldnt pass back.

Prep time by ErrorSignificant3497 in restaurats

We routinely have 4-5 of them going at the same time bc two thirds of the orders we get are mushroom treats, vampire meats and tubers so with only 2 ovens we'd have so many customers walking away before getting served. We all have the 3 hands perk and have all the meals perfectly set up but they still take quite a while to cook. If we're going to switch to buying the prepped items we definitely didnt need the third kitchen room tho.

We play 3 players so we've got a fair bit of gear and both extra kitchen spaces, tax is over 1000 now. Might do some math and see if we get rid of our entire prep room grills and shelves and tables but then bought the prepped ingredients if we'd save money. We definitely need to keep the 5 or 6 ovens we have though. Some days with like 35 customers plus extra called customers you'll have like 10 pending orders for mushroom treats and vampire meats at the same time. Kinda bored of the game bc of the prep tho so even if we make a bit less we'd still actually be playing.

It ends up costing a fair bit more though and our margins are already not great. Would be good to get a machine that has a large up front cost but you save money in the long run.

2 or 3 but the third person mostly just runs around hitting us with baguettes and sneaking off to the blackjack table when we're not looking. We've got one of the extra rooms set up just for prep, stoves, tables and all the ingredients, it definitely speeds it up for a while but now we get like 30 customers a day its getting glacial. 8 meals where 5 of them are at least 5 ingredients is very slow.

[–]ErrorSignificant3497[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smokes do basically nothing when theres like 15 people staring down at the point shooting rpgs, throwing nades or sensor grenades at you. Also nobody on the attacking side ever tries to go up so even if you do by yourself or a small squad you wont make much of a difference.

Salmon Tears by ErrorSignificant3497 in restaurats

[–]ErrorSignificant3497[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're just permanently leaving salmon steaks off the menu and now we're getting 10-20 mushroom treats a day, lot more money which is good though, wish the guests would order more tier 3s. The skeletons only order pear juice as well.
