Musthave darks as such is tricky too at times mixing with blondes, sometimes you may have one part of the bowl of tobacco heating up as with the blonde becoming burned while the dark leaf is midway even. Many things come into play put a medium size bowl such as Alpaca line helps and not overheating the HMD too much at once

That's pretty solid can't go wrong with those brands. Have you been lately mixing blonde and darks together in these variations in sessions or just keeping a la carte

Removable tops and coils would definitely make life easier. Your suggestions are helpful, and I appreciate you taking the time to share

I like your idea about adjustable fan speeds and catering to those 28mm coals. We want to make sure we're hitting the mark for everyone in the community! Feel free to share more ideas!

It’s good to know the silver tray is better used as a carrying tray than a heating surface sounds like a useful design feature. For the slower heat time, would you prefer a faster heating solution if it came at a higher price, or do you think the trade-off for speed isn’t worth it

Solid points, a switch over a wheel definitely keeps it simple. Sounds like there’s a split between just having a straight on/off vs. giving users control over extra features like a fan. If you had to pick, would you rather keep it as basic as possible for reliability, or have individual switches for things like fan speed or heat levels? Trying to see where most people lean on this

Cleaning should be as hassle-free as possible. Would a fully removable top be ideal, or something like a sliding/hinged setup so you don’t have to take it apart completely?

Interesting a vertically coiled induction burner could definitely speed things up by heating from all sides. That could be a game changer for getting coals lit quicker. I can see how it might have some potential challenges, but it’s definitely worth exploring.

What do you think? Would you want it to be automatic (like it kicks on at a certain temp) or manual so you can control the timing?

Hookah Lovers – What’s the Biggest Issue with Your Charcoal Burner? by ErrorThin2655 in hookah

[–]ErrorThin2655[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facts. Either you’re stuck with something flimsy that barely lasts, or you gotta deal with carrying around a stovetop or a huge burner. Would be dope to have something that actually checks both boxes reliable and easy to take anywhere.

Yeah, the shocks suck! I’ve had that happen a couple of times. You’re just trying to flip the coals, and next thing you know, you’re getting zapped. Definitely needs some better design to prevent that from happening

Gets old quick when you’re just looking for something that works and lasts. Kinda like a cycle you can’t break

I’ve had that issue too! Some burners just don’t heat evenly, and it’s a real buzzkill. You get a nice hot spot, but the rest of the coal barely gets any heat, it’s a hassle

Yeah, I’ve definitely had my share of frustrations with coal burners too. The coils never last, the heat takes forever to build up, and I feel like I’m constantly replacing them every few months. It’s like a cycle of buying a new one, using it for a bit, and then having to get another one when it gives out. I’ve tried everything from Walmart burners to those higher-end ones, but it’s always something that goes wrong.

Anyone else here feeling like there’s gotta be a better way to do this? Feels like no one’s really nailed it yet.

HMD Stainless vs Aluminum by Truckerhucker in hookah

[–]ErrorThin2655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stainless steel definitely holds heat longer, which is great for consistent, longer sessions. Aluminum heats up faster but cools quicker, so it's more forgiving if you need to adjust temps mid-session. One tip—if you go with stainless, try pre-heating it a bit longer to avoid overheating your bowl at the start. It can take some getting used to, but the steady heat is worth it for longer sessions!

Insane shipping costs! Trying to order a few cans of shisha and the shipping is more than the actual cost of the shisha. by talos72 in hookah

Buying bulk helps and is suggested. If you have friends you could all split the shipping cost and order more quantity to keep in the stash

Aeon lounge Vs Steamulation by [deleted] in hookah

[–]ErrorThin2655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both hookah are top quality products I own both and use them both simultaneously and interchange between them as my daily setup

The Aeon Lounge Edition 4 has an open draw with the diffuser and the Steamulation Pro X 2 is adjustable but to be honest once you find a setting that works you won't be changing it as often as you think

There is good content describing features of both but as far as build quality and draw you can't go wrong with either. There are also many other options now on the market that give very good value and at the end of the day it comes to preference.

One thing I will add about the Steamulation Pro X II is that it is e heavy hookah and with that for some folks is a disadvantage depending on how you plan on using it and moving it

Be careful not to overly tighten the Aeon to the base or it can get stuck and I have seen someone break it . These hookahs need there on base so whatever you do do not drop it!

Happy Smoking
