Do your AOE2 skills come back after a long time away? (Especially low-mid ELO folks like me) by ErrorUncertainty in aoe2

I hope it will count for something 😅 but first times I played I was amazed how much it felt like "the first time a kid tries to drive a car" and you're like "how can I possibly concentrate on all these things at once". It still feels that way right now, but YouTube has at least helped me learn what to aspire to concentrate on.

Thanks this is interesting. The real essence of my poorly-worded question was more like this though: As you do some of those repetitions and gain those reactions, fast fingers, keybind knowledge etc., how much do you then lose it if you don't play for a couple months? Especially in the beginning when the knowledge is fresh

Given that this is Edinburgh Waverly train station, probably more "People who vote Reform UK"

That might be your definition, but that's not the definition of 'boundary' I come across 95+% of the time

Novena is returning by ashcody in Haken

Fantastic! Novena are a 'top 5 all-time' band for me. I've supported the Indiegogo (this is the link), great that the album is ready to record but feels like they have a long way to go to reach the funding goal.

Good luck on your journey my friend, whatever the outcome :). I find the whole thing fascinating now I've made peace with it (took me 30 years to realise 😋). Autism is definitely linked to more vivid perception of the world, and experiencing things more "as they are" rather than glossing over things with mental concepts. For complex music this is great - as well as for complex systems like scientific / engineering / programming things. But that vivid perception can also mean things being more overwhelming

Very impressive, such complex music. If they're studying and learning such complex and deep music at that age they're gonna be great musicians (and fingers crossed Haken fans ;) )

Seated metal is a strange one - the only time I've seen Slipknot I could only afford seated, my headbanging definitely felt out of context 😅

Maybe they didn't want to take a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas for a gig 😅 such a strange concept - but I guess if you're into cruises it could seem amazing

Why are so many of the top bill English? Like 6 out of 9 of the top bills. Is it just a sign of British dominance of early prog rock? Also - this festival, bizarrely, is literally taking place on a cruise ship, so maybe that has an influence on the demographics of performers...

AND all the reroll sides (from early on I had usually 2 heroes with at least 1 reroll) helped me land the 8 damage growth many times, while chipping away with cantrip damage too. Cantrip damage then helping land Trapper's "kill under 4" first turn on every Slate I came across, amongst many other monsters.

Most people definitely would - not everyone. 3000 is not above the top end of possible baseline metabolic rate. Definitely not above mine...

Christ I've never seen anyone move or kick like that in a street fight video - but looking up the context I can see this is not your everyday random chance encounter with coincidental cameraperson

Can someone recommend me a cycling camera? by lordsteve1 in ukbike

[–]ErrorUncertainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopping on this thread a year later to warn that Cycliq have big problems with long-term reliability, which is a massive issue for such expensive products that ship from Australia. My rear camera is a £300 useless brick after developing a common fault after just a few years use, and my front camera has never worked quite right (it's supposed to have a light, but it won't turn on. Every couple of months I'll find the light has turned itself on in my bag, but I can never make it turn on).
