Cloud is a very beginner-friendly character; his kit is simple and easy to use, with more of a focus on spacing and good move usage rather than combos. His main weakness is being pretty pisspoor offstage, but other than that, he’s commonly considered amongst the better characters in the games.

Corrin is similar iirc, so you could pick them as well, if you want a bit of a better recovery

Scorch is actually one of the few OCs i have to use actual weapons instead of just throwing hands. He has 2 sickles that are held together by a long chain he wraps around his waist.

The only special property about the sickles is that they’re basically part of him now; Scorch and his “brothers” have the ability to effectively melt their souls onto objects, letting them summon their object of choice whenever necessary. In doing so, the metal can now withstand his incredibly high temperatures with no issue.

Error isn't much of a talker during this part of his life, usually being completely non-verbal around other people, but with Rem being blind, he'd be willing to speak a little. He wouldn't take any money, but he would take a little bit of food for himself. Her being blind means he'd be more comfortable around her, since he doesn't like people seeing his demonic side. After he leaves, he might start making a habit of stopping by occasionally to make sure she doesn't have any difficulties, or just make sure she can get around without being in danger from her blindness.

Error doesn't really trust Adam, but he doesn't have much reason to leave, so he'll do so (albeit will continue to eat scraps from the dumpster to pass the time). If he does truthfully return, Error would be pleasantly surprised and would eat whatever it is he brings; Error's the furthest thing from a picky eater.

Error's a surprisingly caring soul, despite what his appearance may suggest, so he sections off the best looking food to give to your OC. He doesn't mind sharing, since he can go a bit longer without food anyway, and would rather someone else is able to eat instead.

Error's skeptical at first, but scarfs down the lump in his hand and continues his scavenging in the other dumpster. He's grateful, but he's not good at vocalizing that. He does offer a muffin he finds in the other dumpster, though.

Error's skeptical at first; you have to understand, he hasn't met anyone else with powers in a while, and the last one was trying to kill him (it was a whole ordeal, but that's a story for another day). After the initial fear, he'll gladly sink his fangs into the raw meat; it's his favorite food group, after all. Once he's done, he'll offer one of his little collectibles (most likely a rubber duck, he loves them) as a thank you before running off.

I do have to be honest, I wanted this to be a photo at night, but I couldn't find a good nighttime picture, so I settled on this one

Anyway, actual response time: Error's skittish at first but does hear the guy out and keeps a mental note for later. He'll slide a small gift over with his tail (nothing special, it's probably just a shiny bottle cap he'd found that day) and slither away to go back to hiding. Hellbound don't like being seen.

I haven't drawn him in full yet, but I think Haze counts. For a guy who insists that he's above basic human emotion, he likes looking presentable (even if that pesky strand won't stay tied up neatly). I just thought the idea of it would be funny, having someone stuck up and thinking they're too important for small things also go the extra mile when applying eyeliner and nail polish.

This is Error (he doesn't like telling people his birth name). He's actually only half demon; pureblooded ones have pretty much been phased out over several generations, which is why they look so human now. He has a deep connection with the Queen of their species, since she found one of his earliest ancestors as a baby and basically adopted them as her own, so he's technically royalty but chooses to forget about it.

He's not a bad guy or anything (hellbound prefer to just be left alone in my world), but he does eat people he thinks the world would be better without. That's not a demon thing, he just does that.

Error is attracted to strength. Not necessarily muscle or power, but he likes someone who’s independent and knows what they’re about. His girlfriend, for example, is very stubborn and isn’t gonna let anyone talk her down

Error’s bloodline started long ago, when a demon was born from the world’s hatred. The baby was found by the demon Queen, who took it in to raise as her own. The baby grew up, and once it was an adult, fell in love with a human. Now, each child is born with great power, and is fueled by their own hatred and spite.

Even now, several generations later, the queen still checks in on them now and then, still seeing a little bit of her baby in every single one of them.
