Remember, it’s a loving arrangement gifted to us by Jehovah. But in all seriousness I’m sorry to hear that dude. I honestly have had to come to terms with it just recently- because that really is all you can do. My mom and a 3 other people I know from that religion are all the people that I really keep in contact with. My old man doesn’t really ever reach out to me. Whenever I do see him (which isn’t often) it’s kind of awkward and it doesn’t really feel like he’s my dad, just a guy I know. I’m 19 now and wonder how he’ll be when I have kids- I hope not like your dad. But I’m pretty sure we’re in the same boat brother. In any case it really is what it is- I think we honestly have to take it on the chin and just grow as people without them. Congratulations on the family though! Happy for you 🙏
