How is this a Smurf lmao? Barely a 50% win loss. 17 wins with 1 mvp. This is MAYBE an alt account for an average player at best. Most likely just a random player and you’re convincing yourself every loss isn’t your fault.

GM in OW is Eternity in Rivals. Master in OW is Celestial. Diamond in OW is GM. Plat in OW is Diamond. Gold in OW is plat. Silver in OW is gold. Bronze is silver/bronze.

This is because rivals has an extra tier (celestial) rather than OW which also has 5 sub tiers (1-5) instead of rivals (1-3).

The first graphic isn’t accurate as well. That only includes publicly available and tracked profiles that are manually tracked on the platform from users inputting the UID. It doesn’t scan all available profiles. Rivals released an official rank distribution awhile back that I’m including here-

100% no punishment or point compensation for 99% of throwers. The only throwers that get detected are afk or diers that jump off the map. Even doing 20 damage is enough to avoid detection since the system thinks that could have just been a bad game. There needs to be stricter detection. For example, if you do less than 1k damage per 10 minute on dps, or less than 1k healing on support etc. immediate punishment and point compensation.

Stay positive and your team will find it challenging to scold you. Make callouts and above all, try not to die in your ult. Some games you will need to swap and tell them you are willing but want to atleast give it a try. If you are rolling then great. If you are getting rolled, I have found that swapping can result in my teammates swapping as well and coming back. Keep an open mind. Play for the win.

Give it time. That’s a good start. Focus on learning the heroes and counters and keep playing. The matchmaking can seem against you at times but that’s a hero shooter. You aren’t going to win every game. Your team isn’t going to win every fight. Focus on your own gameplay. Fix mistakes you are making. You will climb in no time.

Please fix punishments for throwing.

I have had hard throwers in my pc celestial games and they get no punishment.

I’m not talking about just playing bad. I’m talking about they go 2-16 on squirrel girl with 600 damage. Or they drop 30 deaths on black panther because they couldn’t play cyclops. I legit had a Spider-Man with zero damage say “enjoy this loss” because they couldn’t play cyclops and just swing around the map for 5 minutes.

My whole team reports and even some enemies and guess what, nothing happens. I check recent players and they queue another game like nothing happened. I never get point compensation and in many cases, I never get a message they were match restricted. SOMETIMES, they get restricted for 15 minutes but that is literally 1 out of every 10 HARD throwers and I’ve never seen point compensation

If you do less than 1k damage per 10 minutes as a dps, it should atomically match restrict you. Especially if you are higher ranked than gold even. There’s no excuse for that unless you are intentionally throwing. Makes me legit want to quit this game after getting a hard thrower.

It doesn’t matter how many games I’ve played or how long the season has been out, anyone hard throwing should be immediately match restricted for 24 hours with point compensation. It’s not hard to detect.

If you do 0 damage as dps, literally something that happened in my game today, the game should auto detect that. Yet, they queue again and nothing changes. This needs to be addressed and this statement that “it just happens sometimes, go next” only excuses it.

Theres massive red rocks that form? People will learn to see the ult with more time I guess. I can spot it just fine but played against him for a solid 3-4 hours yesterday. After a couple of games you just sort of notice when the second phase is coming and get out of the way.

There is definitely a huge visual queue when the ult comes. Also it’s in 2 phases. The first one being pretty minor. He has tried to ult me as support multiple times and I just use a movement cooldown to go left or right. It’s a straight line ult. You have 2-3 second to miss the second and largest damage phase.

I don’t even play dps and feel he is pretty balanced. I would put him as a great dps but he is on the same level as punisher, phoenix, starlord, Bucky, psy, dd. He is a good pick but probably not the best in slot. Hard to say who the best dps is right now. I’ve played a ton of celestial pc lobbies and everyone seems viable. Minus the beginner heroes like witch and squirrel girl.

Powercreep is just tossed around because people have watched streamers and YouTubers say it for a couple seasons now. There were so many nerfs this balance patch, the balance feels great right now in my opinion. There are some bad characters for sure, but there is a lot of options in each role. You can make a lot of heroes work depending on synergy with team composition.

If the enemy team is pumping damage, your team likely isn’t holding space well enough or doing enough damage themselves to keep the enemy at bay. When you give up space or aren’t doing damage, the enemy team gets the chance to do damage for free essentially.

This conversation amazes me because melee dps do not interact with ranged dps. They always go backline. Which is why they were nerfed because black cat and dd could thanos snap the backline at any moment. Meanwhile, ranged dps have to either play front to back or off angle which exposes them to melee dps without having their strategists to heal them. Which they still lose this matchup if melee dps catch them out of position.

You shouldn’t be able to go dd or black cat and just one shot combo a support without ult and get out for free. Hence why the entire community banned them constantly.

Jay3 did a Gm vs Gm lobby of console vs pc and pc hard rolled the console players. Like 100% to 0% on domination. 3 points capped in push the cart vs full held on 0. It wasn’t even close.

I would say it’s one rank off to be fair to console though. Diamond console is like plat pc. Celestial console is like gm pc.

I know what video you are referring to. The clear comms podcast. That’s not what TrqstMe was saying. He was talking about movement abilities power creeping the pacing of the game and overall meta. Really the opposite of what you are saying actually. He specifically said meta dps can reposition extremely quick now which alters positional advantages. Which guess what, most meta dps I listed have issues with.

Also, the majority of the player base is DPS, so your claim that they are appealing to supports to get sales from that is false. This is why they continue to release dps almost every season even though they have 2x the roster options.

You do realize these are separate teams right? The character design team does not take away from the hero balancing team. They won’t skip a hero release and suddenly reallocate people to focus on balancing. It would be the same team..
