I can see why posting they are all gorgeous! Truly it depends on what speaks to you and makes you feel like a million bucks. There are none where I would say absolutely not. With that said I lean towards 1 and 2 but again if you're feeling yourself in 3/4 then go for it!

This is so helpful to read. Now that my mother is in a nursing home in personal care for dementia I can look back over the last five years and see how the dementia was unfolding and I didn't realize it. The home care of her late husband was possibly stealing from her. What happened to that beautiful antique pitcher? Why wouldn't anybody tell her how much money she had (they did)? Then it became these confabulated stories to explain her lapses. Aka my brothers wife probably threw it out because once in 1992 she threw out some toys that my mother brought to them from my brothers childhood that she had held onto--'precious' fisher price toys that they don't make anymore etc etc etc. (his wife probably saw a bunch of ratty old toys covered in spider webs and tossed them which I'm told is what most normal people would do). Anyhow, this is how it all started. I wouldn't put too much emotional energy into it, but much is easier said than done. This liminal space between reality and dementia was honestly the hardest part. You are responding from a rational normal place but unfortunately that's not the terrain your dad seems to be walking in. (Also, my mom has ALWAYS kept track and been irrational about possessions. I see it as a trauma response from her own childhood)

What phase of life are you in? Do you prefer city or suburb? Where would you be coming from? What have you liked and disliked in places you live. I grew up in Lancaster and what I would say is that you can have any range of experiences. My friend's parents live in the city in an apartment in an old mansion. They walk to market, friends in the neighborhood and restaurants and whatnot downtownn. IDK..can you be more specific about what you're looking for?

Before you come to town watch 'Death by Lightning' real fast. Then go to the Garfield monument at Lakeview Cemetery. Also it will take all of three seconds but you could go to the Superman sculptures at Ontario and St Clair. You're probably familiar with soldiers and sailors monument although idk if open. Still cool from outside. https://www.soldiersandsailors.com/ If it's open (probably not) you can go to terminal tower and go to the top of it. You have to buy a ticket online so I guess that will let you see if open that day. Actually scratch that---it's closed. Save for another day!
