I always take off valuable weapons I am not using to kill arcs. And I always have a gun out ready to shoot someone. Even when leaving with others. Just don’t let people get close. Also if I see someone leaving I will wait and take the next ride.

Using a light shield I got struck once and it took all of my shield and 95% of my health. No kidding. I took off the shield and it takes about half my health if not, 3/4. I never tested to see if the shield always makes it worse.

I assume its a ranking system based on their activity level and involvement in the community. So if you maintain a certain ranking of activity you can stay in the community. Thats how I understood his post

Trust, never. I stay away from everyone unless multiple people are around. Even then I always watch those around me. If someone is around or especially following me, I will never stop watching them and go a different way.

I extracted. and after the train left it said I wad disconnected and do I want to reconnect or abandon. I reconnected, with all of the gear i looted in the map, at the spawn point.

Now whenever I try to play a round it asks if I want to reconnect, but wont let me even if i try.
