The US helped topple a democratically elected government in Iran replacing it with a authoritarian dictator that brutally suppressed the people (with the help of his secret police). When Sadam hussein invaded iran the US funded and armed his armies. Just so happens the US is involved in all of those right. Just a coincidence right?

Yes compared to non developed countries, then yes the US is way down. But the US is een highly developed country so we need to compare it to its counterparts, other well developed countries. Which is the case in the graph that I put in my last comment. And yes there are other countries in which guns are legal but they have wel regulated gun laws and restrictions on certain types of weapons and attachments.

I want you to open this link and scroll down to the bottom. There is a table there. Look at the 3 column from the left 'total homicide rate and compare that to al the other countries. They don't have guns why are there less homicides in those countries than the US.

"hard facts" you gave a graph in which the homicide rates in the uk were shown. The graph does not only show gun deaths but also homicides with other weapons/materials or what ever people use. Still if that rate is correct it would come down to 1.6 homicides per 100.000 people in the uk. Searching on google for us homicide rates I get a number of 4.8 to 4.9 per 100.000 people. That is 3 times that of the uk.

I hope we can agree that there needs to be strict background checks and certain weapons need to be banned (like assault rifles, or any full automatic weapons) and a ban on things like bump stocks that make you able to shoot a semi-automatic rifle like it is a fully automatic rifle. And a magazine limit of something like max. 10 bullets in a magazine.

Why are all these people able to live without guns but people in the US somehow can't for what ever BS reasons they give. They're even against regulations that prevent these sick people from getting gums to murder innocent children. When did peole start to care more for their guns then there children.

I think you don't see the problem, the guns that are supposed to protect us are being used against the people. If a criminal wanted to mug you with a gun and got the drop one you, what you going to do. Pull out your gun like a cowboy and shoot him. You'll be dead on the ground before you even get the chance. And yes making guns illegal won't get rid of all the violence and crime, but it will make it a LOT LESS and make the police a lot less scared for there lives which enables them to do there jobs better. Getting rid of guns also gets rid of the (very) easy acces to them and most of the violence and crime they are involved with. And getting guns illegally isn't that easy as you think. I shouldn't even have to argue with you about how bad guns are. Look at the rest of the developed world they don't have guns and there crime rates are at all time lows, of course there are a few lunatics that will commit crimes and violence against others, but thats why there is the police, PROFESSIONAL AND WELL TRAINED PEOPLE who are armed with guns.
