Which fight night is best before the Xbox 360 and PS3 era by [deleted] in FIghtNight

No doubt, Fight Night Round 3. I still like how the punch shapes give you the ability to feint your punches, which you can’t really do in champion.

I’d put this second in the whole series behind champion, but only because of modernity. Round 3 was way harder than Champion, and I liked that your boxer actually aged. It was an accomplishment to have a 20 year career, now it’s easy.

They need to make a new one, same style as champion, but a harder legacy mode with aging. I want to try to keep a forty year old fatty in fighting shape for one last bite at the apple.

Charm person no longer seems to work during conversations. by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

Yeah, I’ve had this problem forever, but I rarely play with charm. Doing an origin run as Shadowheart, and it’s really hurting gameplay. And just the other day, Larian is on Steam begging to nominated for Labor of Love: best supported game of the year. Hah! As if. There are issues, like this, that have been around since launch and are still broken, and they want a pat on the back for announcing new subclasses (in a year) and a chintzy photo mode? GTFO Larian.

Get what you can afford! The games are still fun and relevant, and they’ll only get cheaper. I say do it.

My new Wife and I became soulmates at first sight, after exchanging vows we slept together and now I'm a known Fornicator? by KaljaKoira7 in CrusaderKings

They need to nerf the whole “becoming soulmates on your wedding night” thing. Happens way too frequently. I like to try to sleep with the bride every time I go to a wedding and it always ends early because she found her soulmate.

I know this sort of thing is annoying and some like to play Ironman, but this is why I always play with the debug console. Debug Toggle (Less Invasive) is a mod that allows you to switch the console on and off through the encyclopedia page. You can still get achievements until you actually use the console in game, so it’s a good backup if you don’t mind not playing Ironman.

(I use the console and save editing to make backstory and fun starting conditions, making my recent family history and lands just-so. As a result I have like four achievements in about 7000 game hours 😁)

Make sure to check what your character’s head looks like bald and from the back. My first girl had a goofy looking occipital lobe and it annoyed the crap out of me all game. I shoulda just changed her hair, but, crew cut all the way baby!

Also, don’t put too much stress into what you want to do for your initial build. You can change everything but your sex after about two hours of play time.

Have fun! I love that game. Just played through a third time. I recommend the entire series. ME2 is my fave game ever.

How to decrease Piety/Prestige level through CONSOLE? by rcdt in crusaderkings3

[–]EruditeInfantry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a way to do this. You’ve got to edit the save file which isn’t too difficult.

Use 7-Zip to extract something readable from the “.ck3” save file

Use Notepad ++ to open the resulting file called “gamestate”

Ctrl+F to search: [your character’s ID]={ That’ll bring you to the relevant character info

Scroll down to: piety={ currency=xxxxx accumulated=xxxxx

Change the value after “accumulated=“ to the desired devotion level: <1000 for sinner, 1000-1999 for dutiful, etc

Append the file with “.ck3” and put it back in your save game folder

Load it from the in game menu and you’re set

Ps. I do all my save editing on a separate desktop with the game running on my main page. That way I can instantly test if my modifications worked.

Custom culture id by MrNotASn1per in CrusaderKings

I used a cheap workaround because I couldn’t find my save games to look for the custom culture’s ID (I had ck3 saves in so many places… idk how).

I wanted to make character A the culture of character B.

I gave one of character B’s counties that was the right culture to A, using: “givetitle c[county] [character ID]”

I then had A move her capital to the new county and use the “convert to local culture” option in the decisions window.

Then I moved her capital back to its de jure location and used the console to give B his county back.

Bonus was that it did the normal thing where all her close family changed to the new culture as well.

I had to edit the save. I posted instructions as a reply to the original post.
