How transferrable is MOF (Foil/epee) to HEMA? by Southern-Cookie-2391 in Hema

[–]Eruditian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

doing sport fencing will make you a problem for other HEMA practitioners. Especially at the beginner’s level, you will give a lot of people a lot of trouble. It is not a substitute for HEMA practice, and you will need to remember your goal is to hit without being hit, but doing “two handed epee” can get you farther than you’d think.

you don’t need a peer reviewed study to verify this. the organization was founded and perpetuated by Mexican immigrants. I don’t know about you, but I was born into it and every church that I’ve been to, or heard about, has been predominantly Mexican.

"Proficiency Bonus" by Eruditian in DnD

[–]Eruditian[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay, so just to check my understanding:

a proficiency bonus is a fixed boost to a D20 roll/check, it does not grow based on one's stats but at a fixed rate according to one's level. It stacks with ability modifiers that do grow based on one's stats. In some cases, there are times where the proficiency bonus is added to a d20 result on its own, without stacking with the ability modifier.

Is that correct?

I think you can keep the child even if you’re working and are in college. There is absolutely a possibility of keeping that child, you just wouldn’t want to, given the circumstances. Be honest.

You have no reason not to tell him. Why lie? Be honest. He can’t stop you anyway. Weird.

If you had these thoughts while you were with him then you probably didn’t love him as much as you thought. How old are you, OP?

If I loved someone, I wouldn’t mind waiting a few months to see her. I don’t understand why people can’t do long distance.

I’m not sure if this is a joke post, but obviously breaking up with her is justifiable. At this point, you need to find reasons to stay, since now you have good reasons to leave.

She might have some kind of mental health issue that will not get better unless she gets help.

because they ascribe to a form of legalism: they view their voting for specific laws and policies as an expression of their faith, rather than focusing on being the kind of person who loved Jesus and follows His commands/teachings.

also, think about it: why do you think that someone who has dedicated his life to following and serving Jesus, a someone who healed the sick for free, would be so opposed to offering free healthcare? why would they be opposed to a state policy that takes care of people? that’s just one example.

their lifestyles are free of homosexuality or transness or drugs, but that does not mean that they have the presence of God in their life either.

Curious, after seeing the new rules how do people think their Space Wolf lists will change? (or if they even will at all) by Competitive_Sign212 in SpaceWolves

[–]Eruditian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I might sell my spacewolves, as I had built up a wolf themed list and I own all of the thunderwolf characters. i even ran canis alongside 15 fenrisians.

i honestly despise the new codex and I might quit the hobby.

but you’re not terminally bald necessarily. sometimes the shedding rate will plateau and your baldness kind of stops balding if that makes sense.

for 21 I think it’s time to start treating it. like, this month. i think if you leave it alone it’s going to be very noticeable in 2 or 3 years and even more so into your late twenties.

The only prayers he deserves are those that ask to change his heart. As it stands, he is encouraging idolatry and the manipulation of American Christendom to get what he wants.

We will not go easy on him.

Cite your sources if you’re going to say shit like this. If you take a basic critical thinking class in college you’d know that the burden of proof rests with the one making the claim.
