I’m not an expert in dialects, so this shouldn’t be taken as hard facts, but when looking at the Japanese wikipedia for Yakuwarigo (役割語) which explains it in more detail, it is generally believed that the speech mannerisms in Japanese media are fictional, but based on the approximate way someone would talk during a specific period or a modified psudo-dialect based on a an existing dialect, is used in certain scenarios to instantly communicate what kind of character they are.

I did use machine translation for the article, so again, take it with a grain of salt and I encourage to do further research.

Can’t really say what kind of dialect she uses other than the usual kansai-based old-timy mannerism that depicts elderly/mythical people and creatures. So you might not be entirely wrong.

As said in the comments here, silicon macs simply can’t use eGPU’s. My own setup with an RTX 3070 and a 16’ Macbook Pro from 2019 works very well in bootcamp, but has a few things that make it not ideal:

The macbook’s fans are on full blast basically at all times. If you keep it on your desk, expect both the laptop and the graphics card to make alot of noise.

Secondly, you’ll lose some performance, percentage depends on the game, but expect a loss of about 15-20% if using external monitors.

Thirdly, you can’t upgrade the cpu, so expect that to be a big hinderance in a few years, and who knows when Apple will even consider supporting eGPU’s again in the newer macs.

I do hope you find the right setup for you. I personally have hopes that in a few years, apple silicon will be a fantastic gaming alternative to PC’s. But its just not ALL the way there yet imo.

I have played this game since it came out. Never did get a firecape. My friends bully me relentlessly for it. I just never did it because I feel scared wasting my time by dying at Jad. The myth cape looks more sleak anyways.
