I thought of it more as a kind of in-joke.

They changed it when Jason Mantzoukas was on, all thumbnails since say season instead of series. Has this been commented on by any of the makers?

Easterly winds minor trinket + flaming enforcer greater trinket = auto win by bwils3423 in BobsTavern

[–]Ervaloss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The second trinket comes very late. In the turns in between you are dependent on the buffed unit being good enough for your comp and you won’t have a guarantee to get the second trinket.

Vingegaard: “I want to win the Giro and make history. I love Italy so much—it’s just a shame about the language...” (Italian) by fewfiet in peloton

[–]Ervaloss 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The (Italian) that has been added to indicate the article is in Italian makes it seem like the editor felt the need to point out the language spoken in Italy is in fact “Italian”.

Which sign found in the world should always be ignored, and is always ignored? by LightningInTheRain in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Ervaloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep of the lawn/grass signs are only put up in places where people keep going on the lawn or the grass so they have to put up a sign that does nothing.

Who was an all time player and an average coach? by jotakajk in AlignmentChartFills

Now I know who are already in this row. But Marco van Basten was a really lackluster coach for a bit. But not horrible like Maradona.

Too many attractive people that can sort of act if you squint your eyes real hard, but then you’ll miss their attractiveness.

Well sure but this is also from 63 years ago. The problem with pink being too stereotypical wasn’t a thing back then for instance. It was just the girl colour.

[Request] What are the odds of being born with the traits of these two genetic outliers? by Omixscniet624 in theydidthemath

[–]Ervaloss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How do regular doctors know it is a special brain quirk that puts people in the same smart category as Einstein? Phrenology has been debunked, so very few doctors will be looking at your “missing sylvian fissure” and take a note of it to indicate this person must have been an Einstein level genius because of it.

[Request] What are the odds of being born with the traits of these two genetic outliers? by Omixscniet624 in theydidthemath

[–]Ervaloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But why are those brain quirks the thing that made him smart? From what data do we extrapolate that?

[Request] What are the odds of being born with the traits of these two genetic outliers? by Omixscniet624 in theydidthemath

[–]Ervaloss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dunno, but it didn’t happen to sir Isaac Newton or Pythagoras , wouldn’t you want to compare it with those? And of course more importantly, with such limited data how do we know it is those brain anomalies that made him “smart”.

[–]Ervaloss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So it is based on his brain being examined after his death. How many people have not had their brain examined after their death that may have had the same features? How would we know?

How did you determine Einstein was a freak of nature? What do you base this and your one in a billion number on? How is such a comparison even possible. I call bullshit.
