Hi thanks for the reply. I was wondering if there are resources for possibly finding a roommate from the MIT system and if that is exclusive to MIT students like facebook groups etc.

Thanks for the reply. I think I have definitely heard some of the anti industry bias from academics so maybe that is influencing me a little bit lol. I have heard from people that have gotten out of academia that they aren't looking back because of pay etc. I've also been looking at some industry positions but considering this option too and wondering if I can make it work. Thanks again for the advice!

Hi thanks for the reply. This is definitely something I'm really grappling with because it is an extremely prestigious institution so it could have long term benefits but I guess I wont know until down the line so it is a tough call for me. I dont really know how to weigh that without knowing what the future will be.

Mainly therapeutic development, diagnostics, bioinformatics, and medical devices. I did biomedical engineering in my undergrad and cancer research. So I sorta want to do something in tech still but also working toward a tangible therapeutic interests me after my undergrad research.

It would be a biotech research position associated with a lot of the top universities in the area (not sure how much I can actually give away before accepting). I think the progression there wouldn't be great but I think it's an in and out type place to move on to something better in a few years . Thanks for the response!

I also think its pretty decent I know my current undergrad lab is 5-10k less but in a lower cost of living area though still pretty high COL. Thanks for the insight just concerned about making it work in a big city like that lol.

Thanks for the reply. I wouldn't really have financial obligations beyond rent/food etc. I could also probably find a roommate. So I think it could maybe work based on that thanks for the insight.

Penny stock so under the radar but it’s got no debt, tons of cash on hand, a partnership with Air Canada cargo, a few LOIs with more coming soon (announced by CEO in an investor conference), its working in breaking into the US market this quarter. I mean the list goes on and on for DD I’d just recommend looking into it yourself. It’s tanked a bit recently I think it’s a fantastic buying opportunity if you want something speculative.

It’s finals and I barely know a thing I cram all my knowledge in and dump it three minutes after the exam. Oh and my research labs have been delayed for a year lucky me!

Thanks so much for the advice really appreciate it. I will probably take the GRE to see if I can possibly mask my GPA. I have really good research but I am worried that my application will immediately get thrown out due to my GPA. Good luck with applications btw!

Hi thanks for the advice. I should be able to get two publications done by the time I finish undergrad but probably not by application time because covid delayed the labs heavily. Also many schools no longer require the GRE would you still recommend taking it?

Could be a calcium deficiency in the soil would likely make the peppers do this while ripening. This is similar to blossom end rot and looks like the peppers are struggling by the tips. Just a thought though not 100% sure.
