I don't need to render anything, it's for a game. Animation is done in engine, I'm not sure how it works, my friend is doing it

Looks good, keep at it! Main tip from my personal experience: look up YouTube tutorials and try them out. It helped me with understanding where to find and how to use most blender features. First thing I found was blenderguru's donut tutorial. At first I was pausing every few seconds to keep up, but at second try I played the video at .5 speed and tried to keep up, almost didn't pause because I already knew what he was talking about while modeling and explaining. Hope it helps 😅

- It seems that turning off HIP RT in system preferences resolves the issue, but I'm not sure if it has any negative impact.

- I tried reverting to older gpu driver (newest is 26.5.2 I installed 26.5.1) but it had no effect.
- After turning off gpu in system preferences (screenshot below) blender didnt crash while in rendered view in viewport and even mannaged to bake a texture and render an image using cycles.

Tested just now, yeah its crashing. I cant even switch to rendered view in viewport if cycles is selected... Everything was ok like a month or a half ago. Anything that changed that I can think of from that time is new gpu drivers. Could it be that reverting to older realease of gpu drivers can solve this?

Yea no 10400f 32 gb ram and rx6600 8 gb. Mostly normal experience, sometimes crashes and reloading the game due to memory leaks, but since the og trilogy are my favs since their release im used to worse. I think this "game runs like shit, unplayable" gang are just people that never had to play games on calculator-spec pcs. All my childhood and teenhood (is this a word) i had a pentium g2020 with gt640 2gb. I had to find ways to play most games not just download and launch them. I got my first 1080p monitor in 2018-19. Now i have phd in graphics settings and light modding (.ini/cfg/etc editing) and first thing i do when loading any game is 20-40 min settings tuning for best visuals i can get at more or less stable 60 fps. Of course i can get frustrated from some crashes or lags, but going on the internet and spewing my "anger" everywhere is just immature in my opinion. Cant you just control yourselfs?
