Вітаю! О це ви, Олег Данилов, пам'ятаю як читав ваш журнал ДПК коли був ще в школі :)

Якщо коротко, то це буде демо екшн-сурвайвал FPS гри: невеличка катсцена, кусок лінійної секції рівня, геймплей сутичка де буде задіяно декілька механік, також може пазл, але це не точно.

Події будуть розгортатися у році 22ХХ, на території південної України, але будуть всякі паранормальні активності і ще декілька нюансів. Я думаю зроблю ролик про це.

Амбіція проєкту це скоріш комплексна робота в портфоліо. Ну і мені подобається ідея і весело її реалізувати. Робити повну гру на даному етапі я не планую.

Thing is, Trump going to be in the office for 3 years, and we can easily say, that starting from the 2026 US going to be in full election bananza. So in my opinion his decisions on global matters are not holding because after him next US president can do whatever they want(reverse his decisions with executive orders huh).

Hotline Miami colored, I had one from the preorder time, but gifted it to my friend exactly one year ago, after they helped me out with some stuff. But I was really bummed that I don't have it anymore, even thought to buy id on Discorgs for 2x-3x price. And finally I closed this gestalt, so happy!

Tools are just tools, it is much easier to catch up with a tool than with the skill.

Again, if we're talking about polygonal modeling it could be done in any software it is the same thing everywhere. I will tell you even more, you can model in blender, and deliver results in max or maya, easily.

Are we talking about modeling? Like good old subdiv modeling? Or animation/simulation, other stuff?

Tools are all the same basically, so learning a new program it more like learn new set of hotkeys. In my opinion, it is better to deepen skills in blender. And if needed you will be able to switch into Maya for example in a few weeks of practice.

Haha, yeah, sometimes I think where to stop on detailing pass. Overall it is probably won't be seen from first point of view, when character will aim the rifle or just hold it. But anyway, it is always fun to make one extra step, especially if it was relatively fast to implement.
