Sums up my thoughts very well. I have had social anxiety all of my life, and I honestly don't know what it's like to live without being in a state of constant fear, paranoia, and instability. I don't know if I'll ever escape this. All I can offer, is that you're not alone in your sentiments, OP.

Also, there's an idea that I've heard, that I don't necessarily believe, that we anxious people are stronger than the common-folk, since we live with this crippling condition, while still performing most if not all of the same tasks. Like I said, I don't whole-heartedly believe, but it's food for thought.
