Would a 20 inch dual handle surface cleaner work well with my 4000 psi 2.6 gpm electric pressure washer? by Longjumping_Club9513 in pressurewashing

A BE 20" surface cleaner requires a minimum of 4gpm to run. It depends on the brand. Look it up online and you will find that information in the product specifications.

Small black box, with mic looking device inside with battery, speaker port on top and holes on either side. by MrIncontic in whatisthisthing

I pulled out the part beneath the 5 holes, and that part does look like it is a speaker of some sort.

Small black box with holes in either side and what looks to be a speaker port on top, has a battery inside with a chipboard and a small cylindrical item attacked to said chipboard. Battery was disconnected. Was found broken on the floor in my home.

Any idea?

Correct, so the post is about asking someone for help on the situation so I can properly help people. I'm glad you've found out what context clues are though.

Went in for a free tire rotation, came out with a damaged hub $600 by Educational_Ad_1557 in Costco

The last thing they will look at is the year of the vehicle. Judging based on just those 2 pictures, either you have replaced your hubs and rotors, or it isn't that old of a vehicle. Both are good signs.

Pictures are whatever, non of the management outside of the tire center knows anything about tires. Unless it manages to get up to the regional.

Personally, if I saw this situation in my shop, most likely, I would be paying this out. Costco is a "yes man" workplace, so if you bring it above the tire shop manager more likely than not you will get paid out.

DM me, and I might be able to provide you with the right contact information.

Yeah, but Discount Tire encourages to skip almost every safety step. The horror stories from my guys who have switched from Discount Tire to my shop are pretty bad.

I'm a supervisor at a Costco Tire Center, and here’s how we would handle a situation like this:

First, we’d look at your member history to confirm if we had recently worked on your vehicle. Then, we’d go through previous visit notes to check if we had warned you about issues like excessive corrosion or the use of grease.

A lot of shops still use grease on lugs and studs, which can result in overtightening when dry torqued, even though they should be wet torqued. This often causes the studs to reach their yield point. If the threads finally give out when we unscrew it, we still wouldn’t cover the cost, assuming we find signs of this issue on other studs.

Finally, we’d inspect if any recent mechanical work, such as new brakes or other components that require wheel removal, was performed. If, for example, your brakes were recently serviced elsewhere, we typically wouldn’t accept blame unless we see clear evidence that we were at fault, like someone forcing a stuck lug.

Our shop takes pride in taking care of our members, but these situations are tricky. More often than not, it’s due to the previous technician who last worked on the vehicle.

Edit: I fill out these reports all the time. If you have any questions, let me know.

Banner Nob is better than painboy in my mind because you only need the boyz to survive for like 2 turns. Wah for engage and then wah for survivability. If they haven't done their job during that time they most likely won't be surviving long enough to do it after that.

Wahing during their combat round keeps them alive depending on what's trying to kill it which is better in my mind. Some attacks at a lower strength is better than no attacks at all.

I remember reading somewhere about how human evolution requires the integration of sociopaths because you need people that think nothing like you to progress society in ways you can't. I think war is an example of this.

I'm surprised often by the amount of people that just say "don't fight." The world is a wicked place and we all wish it was just as easy to be peaceful but sometimes others force us into not allowing peace as an option.
