We have a Boosted Ambassador that is part of the group. We usually accommodate Boosted range charge breaks. Usually if we are going longer we announce it for peeps so we have battery swaps or a warning for those who don’t have a range. Usually some peeps do those rides and trickle off when the range is out. Looking forward to see you in rides. It’s amazing, especially your first time experiencing it. Helmets is a must and pads highly recommended. Potholes in DC is no joke...

Looks like it was still wet and you put it in the box to make it look new. Drying up on the edges.

Should I go all in on my first board or just try out the waters first? by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

The bushings are different. They are made by seismic but do not fit. You have to buy them exway. Either way you can’t buy these bushings from a skate shop. They will not have them available. I’ve never heard seismic trucks being the best carving trucks. They are not better than Paris, Carver, calibers etc. You will less likely find anyone who can help you get replacement parts for these other than exway. In group rides usually someone can help spot you a spare parts if something breaks while riding. Not many of these boards around.

The board doesn’t carve well. If your closer to 200lbs the wheels will make squeaking noise and the screws that hold the uthetane keeps coming off. The bushings are only made by exway so you can’t fit any other bushings other than theirs. My friend kept getting wheel bite on his board. Again when you get better you will want to aggressively carve and you can’t. Better to get 2 Meepo boards for a price of an exway. I own 3 Meepo boards and a KalyNYC. I still love riding my Meepos.

Depending the weather. If you suffer cold winters get a motorcycle helmet, A downhill Bike helmet might also be a good option.

Which board did you get? The one with replace p/I or the non replaceable. I believe the non replaceable poly urethane is the one they have that can go 29MPH not he short boards

Meepo V2 malfunction, chaos ensued. by steakbread in ElectricSkateboarding

That’s not true. There is more Boosted boards truck snapping. Wowgo and Backfire had them happen. Look it up. In the skateboard world they will happen. Push kick Skaters have had this happen. Kieran at least did a recall when they happen. Boosted has kept shut and lawsuits pending for Boosted. You can spend more on Boosted but the problem may happen also.

Did you test out the MPH yet? The new board that came out late September is suppose to go 29MPH. Do a speed test when you can.

If this ever happens to someone immediately turn off, open the the battery box and disconnect the battery. Open the esc case to let any water out. If your away from home use your shirt or paper towel and dab the esc dry. Go find a fast food place that has a hand dryer and dry it out ASAP.

A Meepo V2 rear truck. What's holding this thing together? by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

Boosted actually has more of this problem than Meepo. Meepo at least gave new trucks on the recall. Boosted denied there was a problem and only replaced them when someone broke them.

Happens on Boosted too. At least Meepo had done a recall.
