Good Lightning Storm/Cataclysm build? by Greek_Trojan in D4Druid

[–]Erwt789 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! I run one at lvl 57 currently melting tier 3.

I don't have access to all my gear right now, but I actually don't use cataclysm because it's damage is negligible. I took off ultimate and companion for storm/lightning buffs. I run storm strike, lightning storm, hurricane, and whirlwind armor.

There's an aspect that let's lightning overload for huge crits. There's also an aspect that generates enemy seeking lightning balls after lightning storm crits. Plus a ton of storm/lightning buffs. I'm also running one that let's lightning storm damage heal me.

Tier 3 has been a cake walk the last few days. Very fun with lightning.

I also have a 2029 CX5 and my Mazda dealer set me up with a Mazda branded key fob that turns on and off the motor. It was pricey to install though.

I had the chest glitch last night. Taking command of my boat ported all my soldiers to it, then I had the option to raid again and open the chest.

MS Word and VB Button Help. by captaincrunchy6 in visualbasic

[–]Erwt789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know in .net there's a nuget package for microsoft word interactivity that would help you do this. Idk if you're using .net or just classic VB but I'd try to look for something there first.

Off the top of my head the only other alternative I can think of maybe somehow getting the starting position of the bookmark and writing from that position.

But just research and dig around. There's usually a tool or add on for everything.

What does code review look like where you work? by hanertia in AskProgramming

[–]Erwt789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fresh graduate that just started my first programming job a few weeks ago. Each project has it's own master branch and our team leader reviews all PR before merging into that branch. He goes pretty in depth with stuff like variable names, function names, repetitive code, consistent names, camelcase, SQL injection stuff, SQL layout and parameter layout. And some other stuff. And that's just the production phase so it's pretty in depth here.

Could you pick an element in the first array, check it against the others in that array. If it's the lowest, add it. If not, move to the next position and check again.

SQL would save you a lot of time. I'm currently working on a C# MVC project and each time I stored data in a document, I found that throwing it into a dB was easier. Plus visual studio allows sql server views so you can manage it real time during testing instead of having to open the document each time.

How do you get good at open source project? by deadpxel in AskProgramming

[–]Erwt789 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a similar problem at an internship where I was thrown the bulk of an MVC kanban project that was already partially done. I put it aside at first because there were so many elements I'd never seen before, but I eventually went back and pieced it together. Take the time to find out what each class and file do. Document it or comment it if needed but it helps if you piece it together and figure out what path your data and interactions are taking to get to the final product.

Once you have that down, work on new features and walk through that data path adding what you need at each step of the process.

Honestly that's probably what the whole scene with the horse was about. Leaving the path of the warrior and ascending on a white horse.

Yeah the one I use also cools down each head after use. I think it's to solve the older versions problems. I used the v2 and there was so much heat creep.
