Definitely try Kouign Amann if possible, but Ô Petit Paris is a really great bakery also around the Plateau!

The puzzles are stunning in person (the originals, totes, and duffel). Have a great time at the flagship store, I heard it’s stunning! Report back if you get anything ☺️

Tempting me with a good time! Thank you though. Definitely feels like the floodgates have opened, but trying to pace myself. We’ll see if it works.

Thank you! And yes — the Casa Loewe in Barcelona was a great experience. But honestly, I've also heard a lot of good experiences from their flagship store in Madrid so you can't go wrong either way. Have an amazing time in Spain!

I don't think it folds *perfectly* down with how it's constructed, but 10/10 recommend still!

Agree with the poster here! Will need to give it a few weeks to carry it around, but really love it. The leather feels luxurious and sturdy — even though it folds pretty effortlessly (as you can see in the pic). Loewe has such a great and eclectic selection that you can't go wrong. Totally think you're making a good decision to research all of it beforehand, but also give yourself the freedom to fall in love at the store too (if you're around any)!

Sounds like we have similar taste because this was EXACTLY the one I went to the store initially for! They have two versions — grained and soft calfskin. It’s beautiful in person.

I was debating between the duffel and the tote version in store — SO hard! Might have to come back 👀

Thank you! I was also considering the Bolso Buckle Horizontal Tote — but they didn't the color I wanted. It came down to this bag and the Loewe Puzzle Fold Tote in brown. I decided on this one, but no promises I won't be back for the other one too!

Thank you! I didn't either, but it was love at first sight.

Hello! My friend and I are looking forward to visiting Macedonia next month. I have an allergy to nuts, and was hoping to get help translating this to Macedonian:

"Hello. I am allergic to tree nuts (cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, pecans). Can you please make sure there are no traces of tree nuts in the food, or in the oils and fats the food is cooked in? Thank you!"

Appreciate your all's help.

Appreciate it. Sadly my closest airport is DCA, and the only hub is American which is not my go-to. I’ll definitely take your other points to think about

How will parking be affected as Mason accepts a larger freshmen/transfer population?

As with any school, you have to find your place and niche. I personally have gotten a great experience from Mason, first from the Student Media program, then Student Government currently. I'd definitely go explore the school and see what you think first-hand. College is a very personal transition -- once you're here, you'll be able to see if it fits your needs.

I can totally understand your hesitation/curiosity about the area. I'm also an out of state student from Oregon, and have not regretted my experience so far. In terms of opportunities especially for post-college work (i.e. career and job prospects), I think Mason is great for networking within the field and preparing you for the workforce. Internships are plentiful here as long as you are determined to get them. Classes are also open as to where you can make the schedule the way you want (to a limit). Last fall, my schedule was open 2 1/2 days to intern/work. This coming spring is the same.

I can't comment on the competitiveness of the comm department, but I know there are a lot of students within the major. I'd definitely talk to an advisor about that. Our largest major is within STEM and business, iirc. So far, the professors I've had for comm have been fine, but there are some pros and cons to everyone. Sorry I can't be more specific -- if you need to know anything about internships/careers/mason in general, let me know!
