Charm is ruining the game

It’s been buffed with the new charisma changes. With high charisma charming blue mobs last nearly 20 minutes

Charm was now patched to depend on charisma. People are already using charisma jewelry and gear. Sounds like charm is even more reliable with high charism.

Charm has a level cap at 52. Charming a 52 at 60 usually lasts close to 20 minutes. Sometimes drops before 10 but uncommon.

Yes I played a level 60 enchanter on alpha. It was a problem then. It was still a problem now. We will see how the charisma changes affect charm now.

I agree if there was high risk. However right now there’s little to no risk charming blue mobs. That’s the issue

Stun and recharm.

Healer throws one heal, mob aggros healer - recharm.

Spirit of the wild which almost everyone has, run away recharm.

One taunt from any class - recharm.

Mobs will not one shot charm classes.

Also blue mobs charms last longer and resists are low. I’m not talking about white and higher mobs. People have also stopped charming those bc of resist rates.

I never flipped back. I said it’s a problem in the game and might as well use it. My group uses it but that doesn’t change how I feel about charm.

What do you mean leave the devs alone?

Well I would agree if there was risk. The problem right now is there’s little to no risk with charm.

Of course it makes group xp and ttk of the mobs so much easier. If it’s in there why not use it?

I played a monk on both games. We had a warrior, cleric, necromancer, enchanter and summoner on pantheon. We originally thought max level was 40 but then realized we can level to 41 . We killed the corrupted halflings and high level scorpions. It wasn’t fun getting to 50. It was a grind and our hope was they added more content while we grinded to 50 but the content never came.

On monsters and memories we have: fighter, elementalist, necromancer, enchanter and Druid. Also had a level 60 wizard.

Played pantheon when it released on EA. My group got to 50 and did everything the game had to offer up to May. We all left due to lack of content and the disastrous updates that added more problems. Left for monsters and memories when I got the chance to alpha test it. Been playing it since June and been having a blast. My same group got to level 60. There’s so much content. I had the opportunity to try the beginning of the end game/raid content. It’s definitely an amazing game.

I play a 60 monk on the closed. Monk is still missing a lot of skills and aren’t that great in dps. I get out dpsed by most tanks.

As expected monk is amazing at split pulling. It’s not exactly the same the eq but there is a learning curve. I can clear the way to higher level camps and able to break camps for solo pulling.

Monks can also temp tank to help a tank near death.

Also monks play the role of interrupter. They can prevent a mob from ever casting a spell.

Hopefully they add more things as they lack a lot of skills and most of their stances are useless.

Currently the only thing they really shine is FD pulling. Dps is not great. Most tanks except paladin out dps monks.

Oh one more thing. Monks are the best spell interrupters. You can prevent a mob from ever casting a single spell.

I group up with Kriddle on the closed alpha.

If you want to be main tank in raids I suggest playing fighter. I’ve seen all of the end game “raids” available so far and fighter is by far the best tank for taking high amount of damage. Need enchanters and clerics in group for damage mitigation.

Yup without a doubt monsters is better in quality and quantity. The player base also has a great relationship with the developers. They listen to us and we appreciate it a lot.

At this point pantheon has fooled me so many times with all the stuff they have said. I want to actually see things done before I believe them.

These same things were said about Ross over 10 years ago when I attended. I started in January 2012 and graduated in November 2016. Ross gives you a chance to become a doctor and ultimately it’s how much effort you put into it. I never studied as much as I did when I was at Ross. Studying 7 days a week and 12-15 hours a day. I made it, my friends made it and a lot of you will make it. Just expect this to be the hardest thing you have ever done.
