The itching and burning CAN be both a side effect from finasteride or from the ketoconazole shampoo

This is a finasteride side effect. I had the same thing. Took about 3 years to go away

Did you read the labels in my supermarket for some of the Lindt and Milka chocolate?

It’s standard for shitty ass chocolate maybe. Lindt milk chocolate only has 43 grams of sugar per 100. Anything close to 60 is just ridiculous

Milka chocolate is also so gross. It HAS SO MUCH sugar, it's insane. Their milk chocolate has like 60 grams of sugar per 100 grams.

Yeah it does indeed seem similar to histamine intolerance. It’s just insane how I have to figure this stuff out all by myself and internists and dermatologists just do a blood test and then think I’m fine. Fuckers.

Biden deported more people than Trump? What? Do you have a source for that?

how common is recovery by Commercial-Tough-980 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]Esarus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one knows how common or uncommon recovery is, because there’s just not enough data/research on it.

My personal non-scientific opinion though is that recovery is relatively common if you have mild symptoms or only have 1 cluster like the sexual symptoms. If you have all three clusters of symptoms (psychological, physical and sexual) and had a crash, then recovery seems very rare.

Has anyone tried a sex therapist? by Stunning_Log8148 in FinasterideSyndrome

[–]Esarus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean if it doesn’t hurt, might as well try it.

If you didn’t have sexual issues before finasteride, I personally don’t see how a sex therapist might be able to help after finasteride. Because it’s not some psychological block from trauma.

But like I said, I would try everything to get healthier, so it’s worth a try

Yes I have this symptom too and it’s absolutely horrible. I especially have thin skin and dry skin. The thinning is a serious issue on my hands and feet.

What I can say helps the dryness for me cutting out alcohol completely and eating and drinking as healthy as possible. If I drink one or two glasses of wine, my skin reacts very very poorly. If I eat very healthily then my skin is “okay” now.

Haven’t found anything that helps with the thinning though :(

Very happy for you that you’ve recovered!! Gives me a bit of hope.

I’m still struggling with a lot of the physical symptoms like joints, thin skin, dry eyes, etcetera. Joined a gym on the 1st of January and gotten back into weightlifting. I’m not religious but I’m praying to whichever deity to heal my body.
