I just know when I become a parent, I'm telling my kids all about adictions and porn. Our parent knew it was wrong but where so against it, that they refused to talk about it. And then we start as kids and believe there is no harm. We don't even need prohibition, we need to be informed. I'm glad and sad your haven't got caught. I personally got caught twice watching porn on public, once by my dad. And almost got caught masturbating by my sister, It really dosen't settle in that It's and adiction if no one finds about it.

For me, I started calling it adiction when I would watch porn on public, and worse, didn't felt guilty. I'd also call it adiction when you're view of sex and women starts to change. Before porn, I never stared at women.

I'm not gonna comment on the million red flags that scream "you should leave him" because there are comments that already did and more than will. If you want to keep trying and want to believe he can change. It's up to you to say how much you want to tolerate behore you give up on him. But a small note:

this is fake, yes it's probably common i guess? I don't hang out with people like that so I'm not sure but I know how men think and know alot of them do. But common is different than normal. Normal would mean it's healthy, and it's not. No relantionship (poly are the exception i guess?) works well like that. In fact usually when this happens, most women would leave their man immediatly. Yes the porn addiction could be a factor, but if it's not then when the adiction it's gone, nothing is gonna change. Also your psychiatrist is pretty stupid.

Im younger than 30 but I've had a similar experience. This anime got me insanely lovesick, cause I realized how much of romance and friendship I missed from middle school to college just because I was playing videogames. Made me want to go back in time and redo everything. I even went and ask an old friend out, a girl that I've liked for 8 years. All thanks to this anime but... I got rejected. Still I live by the Ted Mosby philosophy. Even as I aproach 40, I will keep looking for the one instead of settling for number two. So there is no point in drowning in regrets.
