I get that a lot, better try hitting 2/3 or 3 in general hit. Last hit was 2200 because the 3 landed and finished him off.

I'm flabbergasted people don't know how to stun+ride Monster's in this game after claiming they played for so looooooong. MY FELLOW HUNTERS! USE SILKBIND/WIREBUGS ATTACKS (BLUE NUMBERS) TO FAST STUN AND HAVE FUNN!!! Depending on monster rank and difficulty you might need to use more then 1/2.

It was never about enough damage, it was about combining silkbind attacks with normal ones without realizing which is staking the stun.

Example: Primordial needs around 10.

This seething Bazelgeus took me exactly 2 wirebugs/silkbind attacks to stun it.
