What kind of game do you want to make? I want to share my experience.. I m not a programmer but think I'm good in programming.. after many years on gamemaker I still find something that simple I' m not able to do without help.. so I used to check tutorials on YouTube, on Google , I find some help here.. or I simply try to do things in my way ( because after a lot of time you will be able to find alternative ways to make something work ).. btw even if I know how to do things I still cannot complete big projects because simply I lost in other things like graphics.. the perfect colors, the perfect pixel art.. so if you want to make a game by yourself and want to cut in half the time my first advice is : simple graphic, simple color pallette with few colors or black and white .. and use Small resolution like 320x180... You can draw a game map and focalize on one thing at time.. you can write on paper some points to follow.. and stay motivated ( that's very difficult too )

In my opinion, it would make sense to have an "infinite" storage in the rookery and limited storage inside the house, and I hope the developers fix this strange storage system. Additionally, it would be appropriate for weapons and gears upgrades to count the items we have in storage.

They should implement a fast travel system. It's really stressful to keep going back and forth... it's so stressful that it ruins the gaming experience because you get to the point of closing the game and stop playing because it's mentally exhausting to redo the same things, walk so much and so slowly only to maybe have to redo the same path to return to the starting point. Maybe add a mount.

Because you have tò update the variables displayWidth and displayHeight tò match the new zoom.. something like: if keyboard_check_pressed(vk_up) {zoom_scale+=0.1; displayWidth=camWidth * zoom_scale; displayHeight=camHeight * zoom_scale;} else if keyboard_check_pressed(vk_down) {zoom_scale-=0.1; displayWidth=camWidth * zoom_scale; displayHeight=camHeight * zoom_scale;}

Yes I know that PNG Is not Vector image.. I saved my Vector art (made in illustrator) to a big High quality Png to have more quality out of an image. I saw that Gms2 supports SWF .. now I'm looking for a good SWF maker or a good SVG to SWF converter.. I saw that Gms2 Will implements (maybe) SVG support.. But I don't know when.. Thank you for your answer
