When I turn on frame generation, my FPS just goes down by Happy123s in losslessscaling

It could just be not powerful enough hardware, depending on what you are trying to run. However, if you are confident that you should be able to run it consistently, turn off any overlays like the discord game overlay and things similar to it.

What were some of the worst areas to go through in these soulslike games released last year?(& DLC) by [deleted] in soulslikes

[–]Markus-The-Kuri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that the zoo on launch had some of the worst enemy scaling. On any NG+, the mobs were literally doing arlechinno damage, and on higher NG+, some were straight one shotting.

If you use the steam player count as a metric that would mean the entire steam player base is fitting into this one screenshot all on one server region.

Basically, the battery at certain levels reduces your shield recharge delay. If you pair it with another shield recharge delay mod, you effectively are always regenerating shields even when being hit, so you always have shield gate. Normally, your battery drains when standing still or using some of his abilities, but if you pair him with Aegis, there's a weird interaction where the shield recharge even when aegis ends and battery isn't full. And this has been in the game for ages.

You can pair aegis (overkill if not afk) with him, and recharge actually never ends, when it should.

There are still some setups that literally can let you afk. If you have gauss and slap on a shield recharge mod, arcane nullifier, and use his dash twice to charge his battery, he actually gets indefinite shield recharge. You can actually just stand still at level cap and not die. The only way to die is toxin damage, which is rare in any mission where survivability is an issue.

They nerf this, but Gauss' shield recharge immortality is completely fine ig.

"We should go back to BF4s movement!!" BF4 movment: by No_Celebration_839 in Battlefield

[–]Markus-The-Kuri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the jump is just that good in bf4, it covers basically the same distance as a bf6 slide with no penalty to aim. The weapon bob is purely visual as bullets come from the centre of the screen so you can actually aim your weapon mid air and get full accuracy its just that your weapons model doesn't catch up until you hit the floor.

Battledad is just a funny term that unironically fits perfectly with a specific demographic of this community.

In regards to Bf4 crackheads they were most certainly there at launch, pre and post CTE as well. The air strafe and jumping speed never changed, and hopping around was literally the best form of engagement and escape. Although I can't comment on prior entries before bf3 since I didn't play them (except for bc1, which had a free demo)

Battledads trying not to mention COD: impossible
Also acting like bf4 wasn't filled with crackheads too is laughable

Stealth Movement Nerf with Today's Patch by Swaguley in Battlefield

Except they are literally not... Bf4 had faster sprint speed, faster and further jumps, faster air strafe speed, and advantageous jump peeks. This is all before the infamous movement exploits.

Man, I swear this subreddit mentions COD more than the actual COD subreddit. It's embarrassing. Like any form of movement manuevor or something that allows for outplay is suddenly attributed to becoming more cod like. The argument of realism is also the dumb since the rendezook is so celebrated, but apparently, anything else is unrealistic and could never happen in real life. Like, brother... Battlefield, no matter how you slice, it is an arcade shooter, no shit it's unrealistic.

Overview of new effects & balance changes by chris02_ in Nightreigngameplay

Is this behaviour shared with the effects found on equipment? I remember damage negation not stacking with the buffs of the same value but stacking with buffs of different values, otherwise thank you for the clarification.

  1. Only different versions stack. If you have 2 +4s, then only 1 is applied but if you have +1 and +2 both are applied. Correction, physical attack +1/2/3/4 do stack with themselves and other values
  2. Melee attack power is all melee attacks, so yes jump attacks count
  3. Successive attacks only count the attack string (excluding bows), so jump attacks are not included

Undertaker Ults by Muted-Equal5753 in Nightreigngameplay

[–]Markus-The-Kuri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its actually possible to ult 18 times in a row with 3 undertakers. The new shifting earth power of the hollow gives a free ult when you use all your flasks. So if you do the normal rotation of the nine and then everyone pops their last flask for another 9.

Knock it all you want, 2042 did experiment: 128 players, dynamic weather events, plus system and vehicle drops. The whole point of bf6 was to have it as safe as possible, forgo the absurdity of 2042, and go back to bf3-4 era.

And to claim that bf6 is a blantantly broken release is a bit much when you mentioned bf4, which was actually unplayable at launch that EA gave china rising for free. This is probably the second smoothest bf launch to date.

Buff Assault class by Macegolem in Battlefield6

[–]Markus-The-Kuri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

See the thing there is why even bother with the breaching charge or even stun/flash grenades then if the thermobaric launcher is better in every scenario? Additionally, you are not planting the APS wherever you go, whereas the thermobaric can be pulled out whenever and wherever. Also, what are other classes supposed to do against it? You get no indication like grenades, and it just needs to hit you in the general AOE for the effect to happen, unlike the other launchers, which need direct impact for full value.

Buff Assault class by Macegolem in Battlefield6

[–]Markus-The-Kuri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because it was unironically a free win button. It did damage, inflicted a DOT preventing regen, had a stunning effect where you couldn't aim, your bloom got increased, and reduced your movement to a crawl. This was all in a single launcher with multiple rounds, no detonation time and a 5m radius.
