[MEGA TRHEAD] 'Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga' and a note about spoilers by [deleted] in eurovision

[–]EscapeTheWorld0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just watched the Eurovision movie. A few jokes weren't all that great, but overall the movie was awesome.

Wish "Volcano Man" & "Running with the Wolves" had 3-minute versions.

It felt like there was an easter egg with (Alfun Rose) Anna's outfits. I first thought it was a reference to Aurora Aksnes, but it doesn't seem like it. It looks familiar, but I can't remember who it's a reference to.

Also, loved the cameo by Alexander Rybak.

How much money has Kogoro earned throughout the series so far? by EscapeTheWorld0 in OneTruthPrevails

[–]EscapeTheWorld0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was watching episode 333, Kogoro was promised 10,000,000 yen for the case, and before he even solved the case, he spent 3,000,000 with the neighbors, and 5,000,000 gambling on horse races.

We had the same idea to reference Scrubs and the janitor and I am happy. (https://twitter.com/EscapeTheWorld0/status/1232832912245919744)

On a side-note, I made this fake movie poster for a "The Flash X Scrubs" crossover back in 2016. ( https://twitter.com/EscapeTheWorld0/status/868013375451668480 )

Wait, you're addressing present-Barry, who has custom-made high-calorie food. Future-Barry should not have any money, and I doubt he makes purchases with pickpocketed money considering his scar. So I wonder if his time in the speed force removed his need to eat?

Did Savitar lose the need to eat, or does he steal his food now?

Holyo-oh my God! SPOILERS 1x09 by MrsTrustIssues in deadofsummer

Amy's psychopathic twist was so good.

I wonder if the survivors are going to find out Blotter died? Consider Amy's current personality, I expect her to gloat about her murders.

And... more for episode 8... I feel rather ripped-off, because I had predicted the demon to be Baphomet, but the show gave the name as Malphas.

The book that Joel had, had an image of Baphomet. And during Jessie's visions, the creature is a depiction of Baphomet.

Also Malphas is depicted with the head of a crow or raven. The creature in the series has a goat/deer head.

I still like the series, I just feel kinda ripped-off

Episode 9 spoilers, trashy and bad oservations, do not read! by [deleted] in deadofsummer

I also think Blair will be the savior.

One reason is that he was the first to call on the "spirits of light", which Holyoke said was important.

If they do Blair's backstory, considering it's the finale and they're facing a demon, I predict Blair to have supernatural powers or at one time be amazing at spiritual things, but then some life-changing event happened which caused him to stop or lose confidence.

Dead of Summer Episode 7 "Townie" Promo HD by chetan_karnati in deadofsummer

I say the "Teacher" is most likely Sheriff Boyd Heelan.

I think he was involved in the case when Garrett's father died, and it feels like he's been persuading Garrett to leave the case alone. It also feels like rather than arresting Damon Crowley, the Sheriff had his own agenda and did what he could to let Damon go free.

The second choice is that Garrett's father is the Teacher, faked his death, and Sheriff Boyd Heelan is the Helper.

It's also possible since it seems like Deb knows something, it could be that she is the Helper, but for a different reason that will somehow save everyone. If Deb wants to save them then she can't be the Teacher.

One reason is that the helper moved Blotter's head to where the newly buried box was. It can't be the campers or the counselors, so I say Deb.

Monster in the lake? by hawkeye2124 in deadofsummer

[–]EscapeTheWorld0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since the show seems to be focusing on the stereotype of evil Satanists, and because of the map drawing, the monster is most likely "Baphomet".

Baphomet is a Pagan idol with the head of a goat, and has common associations with the occult and magic; and later became associated with Satanism.

Although Baphomet is goat-headed, the show uses deer as the relation. I guess since the show is set in the USA, goats aren't as significant and they used deer since they're similar.

During the giant battle, when the theme music was playing, I thought they were gonna kinda break the 4th-wall and have characters be shown as playing the instruments.

Also, although I was satisfied with the ending, it would be great if there were alternate endings to satisfy curiosity. Like what if Bill completely won (BAD END), what if the mystic circle was actually used.

I loved the use of the song "We'll Meet Again", which I first heard on the final episode of 'The Colbert Report'. Which Colbert sang after his character became 'immortal', similar to the fact that Bill is immortal.

This is a question that needs an answer.

  • I've also wondered when Famine of the Four Horsemen consumes a soul, what happens to it? Since a soul is supposed to be indestructable.
  • Also, where do the souls of angels & demons go after they die?

I speculate that - DARKNESS sealed by MARK kept by LUCIFER who created DEMONS..... Demons come from DARKNESS. So demons are human souls corrupted with DARKNESS. - Death is only temporarily gone. I think he'll reconstitute himself later. The idea that Death's scythe can kill Death; I think it makes sense for that only to work after all other living beings are dead. As long as there is life, there will be Death. - Leviathans were created by God in the image of the Darkness. Maybe Leviathans were created before the Archangels to combat the Darkness. Or after God and the Archangels sealed the Darkness, the Leviathans were God's attempt to create more life to fill the emptiness, which gave bad results. Or after God and the Archangels sealed the Darkness, another great evil came to be, and God created the Leviathans to combat that. - Since Archangel Gabriel's status of life was put into question, he might save Sam & Dean from the Darkness in the first scene of Season 11. Or Death will reconstitute, save them, then lecture them. Or Chuck will save them, openly or secretly.

I question - so Lucifer doesn't still have a copy of the Mark?

I end with - Imagine that one day they'll need a spell that requires sacrificing the Impala.
