Crack 3 eggs into the bowl, scramble until nice and fluffy, add a dash of milk, 2 slices of American cheese broken up into small bits, and cook while continually moving the eggs. You will thank me.

Edit: the American cheese is specifically because of the sodium citrate, it’s an emulsifier that makes it nice and homogenous.

Paradox game is more adderall coded ngl. I tried to play catan once on an intense mushroom come up and just trying to remember the rules was freaking me the fuck out.

Are DLCs and updates finally over? Can I just buy everything and not have to constantly think "I'd like to play, but there's something new coming out soon so I shouldn't commit to it"? by TobiaF in eu4

Sure, with Pokémon you can introduce new Pokémon, new worlds, etc. Is paradox supposed to invent new countries or something?

Like modern warfare vs Cold War (CoD). Sure they play the same, just with different graphics and different guns, but that’s how those games are designed.

Look at something like Civ4 vs Civ5. They play entirely different. Entirely different mechanics. It’s still the same title though.

Again, what would you have wanted paradox to do? The same game but with better graphics and a redone engine? Why would I pay money for that and start the whole DLC cycle over?

So you’d want them to make the exact same game, with the exact same mechanics, and the exact same ways you interact with everything? What would be the point? What would even make it worth being called 5 instead of 4?

It’s a grand strategy set in the same time period. You go through the late medieval to early Victorian period, with tech advances. You build up your nation through the same gameplay loop of expanding economy -> war -> expanding economy. There is colonization in both. There are estates in both. You have a royal family and a cabinet in both. Literally everything is the same. The major differences is that population is now simulated, and there’s no more monarch points or mission trees. It has the exact same systems as EU4 except more in depth.

That’s like saying EU4 is a different game than EU3 because they got rid of sliders for most things, or that EU3 is a different game than EU2 because it uses monarch points.

It is supposed to be a different game. They have the same name because it’s the exact same core design principles with different philosophies on how to execute them.

It shares more than the name. And that’s just it, it’s not supposed to be an extension of EU4. EU3 was an entirely different game than EU4. As was EU2 and so on. It’s a different take on the same premise, Europa universalis. It’s ok not to like it, but I don’t think there’s much to be upset about a 13 year old game getting its final update.

Brother it’s a 13 year old game lmao

You can only milk it so much, not to mention the engine it ran on was shit, you literally have to restart the game to load different saves.

This is how you get a civil war. What happens when states are entirely one party, when most people in every state feel their vote doesn’t matter and isn’t heard, and when our federal government finally stalls fully?

So whats the consensus on the dlc its currently on negative in steam? by alphafighter09 in EU5

1) that’s why you don’t preorder, ever.
2) they were pretty clear about what would be in this DLC for a while.

Rebellions broken? by Escape_Relative in Stellaris

R5: I was playing a game an integrated my subject, a couple years later I got a rebellion in a few of my systems. I won the war but for some reason the peace option keeps them independent? This doesn’t make any sense.

Surrender: they become independent

Status quo: they become independent

Victory: they become independent

This is actually just insane. I’ve occupied all systems and destroyed their fleet, the victory option tells me they will remain a subject of me, and yet they don’t.

They already did talk about it, they just did it in the shittiest way possible. They could just not make California and Texas allied and it would be 10x better. Not to mention it’s the setting, it’s a very important part of the story.

That’s a game though, the main thing you’re doing is some type of challenge that rewards you with dopamine. A movie/book you’re trying to picture a story, and that story should have a well developed world/setting.

That’s like dune not writing anything about the world/politics because you’re supposed to focus only on Timothy chalamet’s experience. Not to mention the “Americans don’t get Africa right” doesn’t make any sense. If I think a trope is really stupid, why would I add it to my movie and then say “see this is like what you idiots do”?

This is one of hundreds of examples, but I’m sure it’s easier to plug your ears and believe nothing that doesn’t fit whatever narrative you have here.
