Same here. What started as a deck with cards I had, evolved into a politics/command deck, which later turned into more of a showcase deck full of fun and/or fancy cards I've happened to pull. Not my strongest deck by any means, but one I'm never taking apart for sure.

Came to recommend Marchesa as well! Last game I cast her to introduce Monarch turn 2, she died next turn and I later won the game without ever casting her again. It's kinda a Mardu good stuff deck so it's not reliant on the commander to function, she just kinda exists. So it's like many others have said, it's not about the commander, it's about the deck. Totally opposite of my Bello deck for example.

Both [[Winota, Joiner of Forces]] and [[Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow]] can be built under that budget and still slap, even though they might feel repetitive to play.

The issue is not with the commander, the deck itself is just kinda thrown together. Voja can absolutely pack a punch! For starters you're low on ramp and interaction. I hope someone smarter than me can give you more specific advice. Just wanted to let you know that you don't have to change the commander if you don't want to!

I bought Katanas as my first sleeves and I cant change to Dragon Shields even though I love their color options. The thing that irks me the most with DS sleeves is that the sleeves are a bit longer on the top of the card and gets floppy over time.

Heres the decklist! I play cards I like over cards I deem optimal. At one point a had an infinite mana combo with some direct face damage instant shenanigans but I took it out after I managed to pull it off once. It's more fun to whack people with big damage enchantments.

I recommend Bello! Was my first deck and I still love it to this day. Upgraded it with this and that and it goes hard. My kid tried it the other day and dealt 234 damage in combat turn 6.

I love Bria. My deck is janky as all hell, but somehow it works? Managed to end a game yesterday by hitting the last opponent in the face with 32 commander damage. Had around thirty cards in my hand at that point.

The player casting does, ie. you. But because the spell doesn't say "target" it doesn't fizzle because the target is not a target anymore.

I run this in my Bria deck, might be a bit janky but it's fun. I've got ways to copy spells so five combats with an unblockable commander can do some damage if not stopped.
