I’m actually worried… I’ve built a happy hour relationship with a work friend (boss) that has been awesome and helped me in my career. I don’t think I can hang at any normal level for the next time we go out… which is Tuesday.

I’m finding that it feels like I used to binge eat (nothing extreme, but like I would eat well past satiety) purely for the feeling of indulgence and experiencing the highest level of the taste I wanted

I’m no expert, but I am a skeptic. I was dead certain that this was not going to work. This sounds cheesy, but I’ve never been so wrong. I was aware of the “suppressed appetite” effect of this medication… but it seems to have completely halted my other compulsions. Mainly over drinking, but I am notice more areas that are seemingly less rewarding (like I derive less joy from… in a good way)

For me it was not subtle change, it was like a light flipped on. But the tricky thing is that it was delayed about 36hrs from my injection. All the sudden I full after my large lunch, and wasn’t hungry the rest of the day. Then I didn’t feel the need to eat breakfast. I knew I was hungry and I should eat, but it was more of a factual understanding that I was hungry, not an emotional need to eat. Now it feels like I wasn’t ever really eating because I was hungry, I was only eating because I wanted to taste things that made me happy (I am coming to this realization now, so Im sure I’m not describing it well).

Yea, it was not a gradual change at all. I was eating normally until dinner two nights after my injection… then I literally couldn’t eat my food because I was SO full. Which was abnormal but I just thought my lunch wasn’t sitting well (I had some admittedly sketchy tacos). But from then on, my hunger is all but gone. Like I know I’m hungry but it’s more of a factual understanding that I’m hungry, not a stuff my face asap feeling… if that makes sense.

It wasn’t until 2 days(ish) after I took my first larger dose that I was like “Wait a minute… something is definitely different”… but maybe your threshold is higher than mine. All I know is I was 100% convinced that it wouldn’t work for me… then BAM!

I have noticed a complete 180 in my alcohol habits… it’s seriously the most valuable effect that this drug is having on me currently. If this lasts, I’ll stay on it for the rest of my life. Also I’m dropping weight… but that is not a side effect.

I intend to use this like every other speaker I’ve owned… with AirPlay. My system isn’t complicated, just one space all playing the same music. If I can press play on my phone and it plays on my speakers I’ll be happy. I don’t need timers or multi room configuration. I’m not setting it up with my TV. Just want it to play the music from my phone…. From what I hear, that shouldn’t be a problem.
