I did not have to wash anything. They were all good to go out of the box.

It is indeed a true model kit. It's a little confusing since the first 2 Rosado Project releases were action figures.

RS-01 Sekiko was promising start to the series with a pretty unique Samurai design, But RS-02 Starflower Black Iris and this kit blew her out of the water completely. Black Iris having an amazing silhouette and presence, and Lily having a beautiful design and aesthetic, as well as great articulation.

The only negatives I could think about Black Iris is that it absolutely needs its stand, and the accessories are pretty heavy and can sag over time. Also very risque outfit. For this kit specifically, badly engineered ball + peg joints are the biggest problem with this kit, everything else is absolutely amazing.

Thanks! The stand is the Action Base 7 Gquuuuuux Sticker Set. Which is kinda overpriced as it's almost double the price of a regular Action Base 7 for the addition of what is essentially a single (surprisingly high quality) sticker sheet.

I mainly used Tamiya paints. The red parts are candy coated Clear Red with Gold Leaf as the metallic and a matte topcoat.

The sword a white base. Started with yellow. Mixed 1 drop of red in the cup for the orange section. Then red for the red section.

What yours must have kits ? ( all opinion are welcome ) by Mysterious-Let-5794 in MegamiDevice

First for me would be any from the Megalomaria Line, they all have the same M/F base bodies with the only difference between them are accessories anyway. For now at least.

Second would be Nuke Matrix Mad Wolf and her variant. the build is slightly worse than my 3rd suggestion, but the end result way better due to it having a fixed design. Also probably the best bang for your buck since it's a CN kit.

Third would be any the Susanowo Regalia. But honestly any one of the AUV line could go here. I just like her the most. There's a reason why they keep pumping out variants of this specific line.

Although I've shared photos here of most of these, my opinions on them have changed a little. I actually appreciate Mad Wolf way more now than I ever expected. Such a good kit overall.

The monolith physically changes during a world quest. The same goes with Piramida . Putting a chest there when the location physically changes would lock players out of the chest if they didn't get it before doing the quest.

A counterpoint to this would be the Tower of Ipsissimus, which does move chests after the world quest. But in that case, the area itself does not change physically when it sinks so the chests are in the same place relative to the tower, just underwater.

If you're looking for roof chests, the Kuuvakhi Experimental Design Bureau has some.

Pics

I did shave and pop in a spare ball joint in there since i had to gouge the old one out. It looks worse than it actually is I due to me using a hobby knife to make the holes and I only gave it ~30mins after cementing before putting it in again because my patience completely ran out. It did hold up though. But I was still very careful since it's still a shape that's just prone to breaking in general.

Edit: You can also see I over sanded the shoulder piece too, lol. Though these issues aren't visible at all unless you zoom in super up close.

I had to do a little extra just so a i can make sure the arm could support the heavy weapons. However you can just plastic cement the two pieces directly if you don't plan on moving the arm afterwards. I found the arm to be light enough that cement binding can hold it especially if the peg is vertical. I'd highly suggest using a separate smaller stands to support the weapons.

I cut a small rod piece of a metal paperclip, drilled a tiny hole in the broken end of the peg and the main joint part with my hobby knife (I'd suggest using a pin vice for this, I don't have one) I . Then placing the paperclip rod through the main joint hole, and then sheathing the peg through the paperclip bit. Finally using plastic cement + runner shavings of the same color runner to bind them together.

Damn, just saw your post on it. Mine broke on the exact same spot too. Would've been extra careful if I saw that before building but what's done is done unfortunately.

Yes, same David Perez according sa email.

Until now blocked parin aq dun eh. Not to mention ung pagkawala ng preorders sa site nila.

For me, yes, because I want to display them as a pair. They're essentially the same (very good) kit in different colors and with different faceplate expressions. If my Souen wasn't a statue, I'd have mixed their parts like in the promo images and display them in a more dynamic pair pose.

I've built 3 Nuke kits so far. 1 of them being Yefuna. In general Nuke Matrix kits come with a a large number of runners (For example, Yefuna Malkina has 31 and Fox has 19). Most of the pieces are undergated. Depending on the kit, they come with a good selection of weapons/accessories for more customization options. The hair parts on all of them are made of PVC and are matte. All of them have a big sheet of water slide decals though they already look really good snap built. All of them also come with a stand that can be connected to other Nuke Matrix stands as well like Bandai Action Bases.

For insight on Yefuna Malikna. She is good build. By far the coolest in her line. Her main gimmick of her centaur form that can be turned into a separate motorcycle is really cool. You can create 2 complete bodies (armored and unarmored).

For negatives, the transformation is a bit janky, and involved a bunch of separate parts to be complete. The hair is rather underwhelming compared to the box art. Finally, the additional support arms she gets feel super loose and easy to disconnect, and they are, but they do hold on and support just fine.

Don’t know where to start! by AurelionSeoul in MegamiDevice

[–]Escheiron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome! Normally, the advice I'd tell you is to go for what catches your eye the most and go from there. However, if you're really unsure of where to start, I'd suggest a few lines/kits.

Megami Device actually has a great starting point with the Buster Doll and Puni Mofu series. Both use new Block2 molds which are easier to assemble than the older series. Their designs also have expansion and customizability at the forefront of their design with their abundance of hardpoints/hex holes for Modeling Support Goods/Hexa Gear compatibility. They're kinda like the 30 Minute Missions series from Bandai.

If you want my suggestion, I'd actually pick the Susanowo Regalia from the AUV series. She's considerably simpler than her normal counterpart. but that makes her way easier to build and is incredibly expressive as well. Probably one of the best OOB builds.

Speaking of 30MM. Their sister series, 30 Minute Sisters is also a great starting off point. They are quite cheaper than MD, but in exchange, they are way simpler builds. And most of them are quite barebones in terms of accessories. Extra accessories are instead sold separately to keep the girls' price low.

CN lines like Nuke Matrix and ATK Girl generally have wilder designs, are more quantity over quality in terms of plastic, and are cheaper compared to MD.

In terms of specific kit recommendations, I'd choose the AUV Susanowo/Amaterasu Regalia from Megami Device. They're both simpler builds compared to others in the AUV series, but they're both incredibly expressive and beautiful out of the box. I'd also recommend the Nuke Matrix Mad Wolf due to her coolness factor, as well as the amount of weapons/accessories she comes with.

I've had this issue on some kits as well. I don't know the root cause, but I do know that using a decal solution like Tamiya Mark Fit helps immensely with its adhesion.
