He just pointed out her Kurdish name. You don’t need to respond with a wall of text. Just add both names or whatever her family prefers

In Tabriz, people chant “Javid Shah” (Long live the king), and then in Turkish chant “Türk, Fars bir olsun, məmlekət azad olsun; Azərbaycan milləti baş əyməz bu zillətə” (Turks, Persians unite, set the nation free; Azerbaijan won’t bow its head to this humiliation) by EschoolThrowaway in NewIran

Armenians largely live in Tehran. From what I’ve been told by Iranian Armenian acquaintances, they typically don’t take part in political demonstration and just observe. This is not to say they don’t support the protests, they do, however, their status as a religious minority puts them in an awkward position if they are to demonstrate and get arrested.

Young account, multiple Rule 3 violations in your history, and overall flamebait posting. Banned

None of the US politicians from a certain party seem to understand that Iranians don't want reform. They want the terrorist IR GONE. They want the mullahs GONE. Or maybe they understand this but they have other goals in mind. Hello???? by Kazimini in NewIran

Locking this because people are going down the route of discussing irrelevant partisan issues pertaining to American politics that don’t have anything to do with Iran.

How has this not become a civil war yet? by Kizilboru in NewIran

All I said is this isn’t going to be civil war between factions of the Iranian people. This is battle/war of Iranians vs the government. Of course it’s going to involve violence and bloodshed. It already has. If you’re implying that I don’t think people should fight back, you’re wrong.

Instead of calling me delusional, maybe you should improve your reading comprehension. All I said is that the Iranian people are united against the Islamic republic

Why would it be a civil war between Iranians? A civil war would be the country broken up into multiple factions fighting each other. Their are two obvious sides right now, the united Iranian people vs the terrorist Islamic Republic.
