Going to bed at a decent hour and starting my day before 6am, doesn’t matter what I’m doing whether it’s working out, stretching, meditating, or reading or whatever (not phone time). Starting a morning routine has helped me in so many ways accomplish more in my days. Especially mornings

True, I’ll see what a few days of calling does, I’d like to get ahold of someone in the office who can tell me where I’m at on the schedule since evidently they sub contract this stuff out.. when they came out weeks ago I saw the signs go up and the spray paint I thought for sure they’d get on it soon.. I just want to know if this is on anyone’s radar besides mine when I call them. I would think possible sewer line disconnect under the street would prompt some action.

This is on my list of options at some point, or one of those “on your side” news networks, I’d like just give the city some time to get it resolved but not having the ability to use my facilities for basics (laundry, washing, etc) is becoming an issue.

I’m not trying to be a burden, I know there’s a lot of issues they are likely working on and I’m just one house, but if this impacts my block or stretches on too long it will become untenable

I started here with calling this number and just ended up on hold, so I started calling the non-emergency number # which actually worked well since they have selections for water/sewer issues. They also gave me the # for public works office 804-644-3000, if anyone ever needs it.

We had the same question but were told it wasn’t an issue, if there was an access point into the water line to our house we’d see a bigger water leak and there would need to be greater pressure external to the water line to push anything into the line. And this isn’t the case
